Loved everything about my stay at the Nautilus. The grounds were beautiful, the location was great, and the room was clean and comfortable. What made it 5-stars was the exceptional staff at the front desk. They really went out of their way to help with everything I wanted to do. Great recommendations, very helpful, and extremely friendly. I'd absolutely stay here again.

I stayed here with my wife and 6-month old daughter. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The pool was great. The location is amazing. I would definitely stay here again. It's quiet, safe, and close to some great restaurants, the Super Ronny grocery store, and minutes from the beach.

Place would be better if they filled in the huge gap under door so insects don’t come indoors. Very friendly and helpful front desk thought. Arranged a good ATV company and we had fun on the mountain roads.

Thanks for review and comments. I will look into this with the maintenance guy, but it is the jungle i am afraid and 6% of the worlds flora and fauna live in Costa Rica, thats what makes it so unique an experience. One of the most amazing is the leaf cutter ants that wonder along our foot path, but they are too busy to go under the door.....lol.

The staff was lovely and very helpful.especially janina.they helped us out with every tour and bookings to other spots.it was a little cafe that served breakfast and lunch. the food was so tasty and fresh. our room, which was actually a little cottage, with kitchen and everything was so nice. though we barely used the kitchen beacause the food generally in Santa Teresa was so nice.we definatly want to come back.

I recently visited Costa Rica for ten days, several of which were spent at the Hotel Nautilus in Santa Teresa. From start to finish - the booking process, their help with travel to and from the hotel, to the incredible stay - my experience of the Nautilus was excellent. The staff is all incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. While staying there, the reception helped us book ATV's, surf lessons, and more. We also took daily yoga classes on their rooftop deck which were completely magical, as we practiced yoga surrounded by the sounds of nature and felt the nearby ocean breeze. The restaurant onsite, Olam, has an amazing selection vegan and vegetarian food and smoothies - every meal we had there was thoughtfully prepared and full of the freshest ingredients. Just note that it closes at 3pm everyday so you will have to venture into Santa Teresa for dinner. Luckily the Nautilus is located nearby tons of fantastic casual eateries and restaurants, just a short walk away down the main dirt road of Santa Teresa. Our villa was clean, spacious, quiet and very large - it also had a fantastic deck where we were able to receive full-body massages booked through the hotel itself. I definitely recommend the Nautilus for anyone looking to visit Santa Teresa. It is close to the beach, close to everything you need in Santa Teresa, but still a quiet and peaceful retreat away from it all.
