No, not at all. If you would like to have access to a fitness center, Santa Teresa is definately not the spot for you. Santa Teresa is an extremely rustic, small crossroad of a town, barely a town by US standards, composed of makeshift shanties serving up great food; and Mariposa Vacation Homes are solid, beautifully built homes with modern amenities. The area in general is, as I said, simple and rustic, the main fitness activity one would do there is surfing and perhaps yoga. If you really like having access to a fitness center and that sort of thing, I truly recommend you not go to Santa Teresa, it is too off the beaten path in so far as time to travel there, and access to resort quality things, only for you to be sorely disappointed....
