Anyone who has been to Santa Teresa Costa Rica will tell you that it is one of the best Pacific beaches in the world, with lovely weather and beautiful beaches that go on for miles. Rarely crowded and with loads of surfing, including plenty of surfing lessons offered, the area touts wonderful restaurants, including one run by the brothers who... More

February 2016 was the second time staying at Zula Inn, our 1st experience there was February 2015. The Inn is a great place to stay, rooms are cleaned everyday and the staff is very helpful. Thank goodness for the pool area as the temps can be rather high and a refreshing dip is a pleasure. The owners Avi and Rotem... More

great pool, great honor system bar, very clean rooms, good location for restaurants, the beach and back from the main road so no dust! The brothers are both very nice and accommodating. There are bugs in Costa Rica its just a fact, I think we maybe saw 3 cockroaches in our 3 days here... so do not worry, relax, enjoy... More

We couldn't sleep a wink here because of the sheer number of creepy-Crawlies. We took turns whacking them throughout the night. The kitchen was overrun with cockroaches. One or two sightings would be normal but this was a cockroach family reunion. Otherwise, the location is great- in the middle of nature. The cabins are cute with outdoor seating and a... More

The hotel had a great location. It is a smaller hotel but the owner is onsite and greets people by name. The owner checked in to make sure I had everything. The lounge area by the pool is wonderful. Each of the villas have their own hammock which is a nice touch! Would certainly stay here again!

I was nervous about my reservation here, even on arrival. The property in front of Zula on the road does NOT belong to them. As soon as I got checked in with my 22 yo son and 23 yo daughter, my fears were relieved. The brothers who own it go out of their way to please you, not just on... More

We are a couple, stayed there for 3 weeks for our honeymoon. I've traveled around the world for quite a bit and experienced many different accommodations. This is by no doubt one of my top pics (globally), especially when taking into account the price per night. The place is amazing, perfect location, surrounded by the tropical nature of Costa Rica,... There aren't a lot of good things I can say about this place. Upon walking up the driveway to the units, you have to get past an initial smell of garbage and dog doo smell. When you finally do arrive at the reception, good luck if anyone is in the office- you have to call someone to get them there-... More

Stayed here with a friend for 4 nights and rented the two bedroom bungalow. Was nice and clean inside, and the common pool area was great for those scorching afternoons. This place was in a perfect location and we just rented the surf boards and surfed down the beach path from here. Everything was close by so we walked most... More
