We booked this hotel because it's the shooting location of a Hong Kong Soap Drama. The bedroom is really clean and big. Also, we can have breakfast just next to the beach. How nice it is! And I can swimming, horse-riding, having massage next to the beach. It is really a good place for relaxing. Unfortunately, it was raining. Thus...

I stayed in lone pine a year ago when my friends from outstation paid me visit in penang. Lone pine is different from city hotel whereby it's located by the beach. The entire design really make us feel home. We love the long bath at balcony. It's suitable for newly wedd couple. We love the breakfast at the garden too....

I checked in late in the evening (around 10pm): 1. Insects in the corridors (some were amazingly large) and the room also had its share (dead insect on the pillow); 2. Torturous "buzzing" noise in the room, and the source turned out to be the electrical box! Contacted reception and it took more than 20 mins (and another call to...

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our trip to just chill and lie by the beach/ pool. The hotel itself was lovely, perfectly kept grounds and nice pool to lie by. Breakfast was ok, The staff however kept Leaving all the covers off the food so that it was just getting cold and one dish had...

The Lone Pine is a great hotel, The room we stayed in on the second floor, with a view of the ocean and the pool was great. A nice lounge on the balcony as well as an outdoor sunken bath topped of what was already a very comfortable room. Check in was was very good, with a welcome drink and...

We stayed at the Lone Pine Hotel for 4 nights in October. We chose this hotel because it was part of the E&O collection and because it was more of a boutique hotel. The grounds are beautiful and the hotel had a very vintage feel which we loved. The breakfast was OK, we've had better. The Japanese restaurant in the...

We stayed here for 5 nights in October. The whole experience was positive. From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive and helpful. The room overlooked a beautiful row of established trees with a filtered view of the beach beyond. The room was spacious and modern and the shower was huge and hot! The bed was also massive. The...

I stayed at Lone Pine many years ago, before E&O took over and refurbished it. I loved it then with its laid back charm and colonial architecture, and was hesitant to stay under the new hotel management. I am so glad I went ahead anyway. Absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the Premier Double room with a garden view on the...

We chose this hotel for a treat, so the price reflected this. The hotel itself, grounds and general upkeep were all extrememly good. It has a lovely old colonial feel, a beautiful pool and the rooms are spacious and even have an oudoor bath on the balcony. Our flight was delayed and we arrived very late. It took a while...

We chose this hotel because it was a small hotel.Room and outside bath was lovely as were the daily newspaper and fresh fruit each day. There is free wifi in the lobby and we never had to look for a vacant sun bed. Breakfast was adequate with the usual cereals, eggs fruits and yoghurt. I found the fruit juices a bit...
