We have just returned from spending 10 days at the Lone Pine resort. The resort only has 90 rooms which suited us. The pool and surrounding area were lovely. It was very quiet and sometimes there were only a dozen people around the pool. Rooms were clean and well decorated and the staff were excellent; couldn't do enough for you....

A lovely hotel with a very beautiful garden and design. Stayed at premier garden room 808, it is located at the far end of the garden. Good to stay away from the noise of the wedding ceremony that they had during our stay at the garden. The bed is very comfortable, love the bath tub. The welcome drink is delicious....

We went to a friends wedding at the hotel had a lot of fun here but the service left a lot to be desired. The good. The rooms were great, clean and spacious with high ceilings. The make up service was discreet and efficient. The included breakfast was good. Beautiful setting on the beach with watersports straight out the front....

Great location in Batu Ferringhi and well built hotel. Sadly no vision or direction and full of wasted opportunities. All the staff were willing to help but lack of training was evident. Food and service was no better than average but room was fine with great bathroom. Focus is on weddings or corporate/conference events so as a regular holidaymaker you...

Generally not worth its money. Not sure what the definition of a boutique hotel is, but this was too big and too standard to deserve such title (basically nothing unique about it). looking at the condition of the hotel and the food served, the hotel clearly lives from mass tourism and do not rely on returning guests. That said then...

Stayed 2 nights with my family over the CNY. Charming hotel and the staff at Front Office and Housekeeping were friendly. Rooms were huge and i love the balcony and the little touches of sarong and traditional paper umbrella offered in the room. We had our reunion dinner at the restaurant, buffet style. Service and food quality is below average....

Stayed 3 nights last December. Comments are: Plus points: 1. Beautiful boutique hotel. 2. Our room was spacious and bed was comfortable. 3. Exterior (garden, trees, pool) was pleasant. My kids enjoyed the hammock in front of our room. 4. Staff were nice and attentive. 5. The location was perfect. Restaurants, spa, shops are walking distance. Negatives: 1. The hotel...

This is a great hotel. Location right on the beach in Batu Ferrenghi. Staff are very helpful. Breakfast is served outside overlooking the beach. Great breakfast variety. Fruits, juices, pastries, eggs, pancakes, waffles etc. Pool area is very well kept with lots of sunbeds and chairs. There is a water cooler located at the pool so you can get cold water...

Just stayed in this 4* hotel for 10 days after spending 4 days in it's 'sister' hotel the glorious E&O 5* in Georgetown. That is where the connection ends! Although the Lone Pine probably gets it's 4* rating (it is classed as5* on some websites) from the fact it has a health spa and gym, I don't think it should...
