Bizarre little place. Certainly not 4 star in my opinion. The whole place felt very unclean. Bedding was grubby, bathrooms poorly maintained and general cleanliness seemed lacking. Granted that the place has great character but it's certainly not a boutique hotel. Plus, I swear it is haunted!

Nice little place, however has an odd smell by the stairs and the sheets on our bed had two wet patches from being cleaned which led the mind to wonder so that wasn't too pleasant. Have an amazing breakfast in the mornings but the staff literally took my plate from under me before I was finished eating my egg croissant,...

Mimosa Lodge is perfectly nestled in Montague and really offers everything we expected from a visit to the countryside. The warm hospitality along with world class cuisine makes this gem stand out above any other considered choice you might have.

Friendly, helpful staff! Nice bathroom - however, make sure that you know what is in your room. If having a TV in your room is important to you - this is not where you want to stay. If that first cup of coffee, made in your pj's, is something you like, be mindful that you'll have to step out of...

Very large room in beautiful gardens, with complementary muscatel and fruit left for us. A little pool set idyllically among the gardens would be lovely in summer. A gourmet, yet reasonably priced restaurant was attached and dinner was delicious.

I was pleasantly surprised on my birthday by this little gem a month ago, and we've returned for another dose of warm, country hospitality. Elma and her team are warm and hospitable, looking after us so well, they remembered us like we were old friends. We've stayed in the lovely orchard suite twice. It's the perfect spot for reading and...

We had an awesome week end, the staff were very helpful and eager to make sure our every need was met. Even in the heart of winter, the rooms were cosy and warm. We only had breakfast and it was delicious. We were very happy to have gotten a special deal. We will definitely be back!

Welcoming and friendly staff even though we arrived late. We stayed in a Garden Suite, the rooms were comfortable and inviting. The breakfast was fairly basic with hot breakfast consisting of bacon, eggs, mushrooms etc with the cold breakfast being a selection of warm rolls, cheese, jams, cereals and yoghurts. There are various areas provided where one can just relax,...
