Lovely place surrounded by beautiful mountains. We stay in Vine Cottage, clean, neat, beautiful and comfortable. Had a wonderful stay. We feel very welcome with the roses and the lavender in the cottage and the gooseberries in the fridge.

Keisie Cottages are well off the main routes and part of a gooseberry farm, easily located out of Montagu. A warm welcome was received from Pauline and she ensured that everything we needed was available. We stayed in Vine Cottage which is compact and reasonable well equipped, pleasant stoop with braai also trapping the early morning sun. A pool is...

Located in a stunning valley, surrounded by a working farm and bordered by a river (sadly not flowing at present due to drought) and with a stunning swimming pool just a few steps away from little Vine cottage you just couldn't ask for a better place to go on a weekend retreat. My wife and I loved the place, both...

Surroundings were beautifull. The house was out dated, dark, bathroom was dirty (mold en brown worn out bath). Ceiling in living room was hanging down because of water damage. Swimming pool was very nice, but seating very limited

Stayed in Vine Cottage. What a lovely experience. Peace and quiet. Tranquil surroundings. Lovely just chilling next to the pool. If you are looking for a place to escape the noisy city buzz, this is the place to go. From picking vegetables for your meal, to picking and eating gooseberries on a walk through the farm. This is a country...

Comfortable little cottages set on a picturesque gooseberry farm. Loved the pool, picking your own veggies and hiking around the farm. There's no phone signal - so be sure to leave your work behind. Great break!

Overall a great and relaxing stay. Lovely walks, well equipped kitchen, great fridge/freezer for 8 people for 7 nights, pleasant rooms and house, good beds and good service. Generally we have a very enjoyable stay. The large covered stoep with built in BBQ and large table with chairs was great in the evening but became a bit too hot at...

Our family of 2 couples, 2 teenage children and 1 of 20-odd spent 3 lovely days in Gooseberry "house" (hardly a cottage). It was very comfortable with high quality bedding, furnishings and appliances. The outside dinning room/ braai room is great. There are many different birds around the house and farm. The light pollution is minimal and the stars are...

We went to Keisie Cottages for a joint birthday celebration, and it far exceeded our expectations for the price of our stay. There were lovely little details that made our stay more enjoyable, the views are incredible and the cottages are very comfortable. There's also a sense of old country magic in each of them and the pool area is...
