Wonderful accommodation in the heart of the National Park. Room had all the amenities you would expect from this kind of property and price range. A decent breakfast was provided and then John our host dropped off the group at the start of the alpine crossing, and picked us up at the end (an extra charge of NZD 40 applies...

Super friendly place and great value. We were in the lodge part which is like a hostel, with shared bathroom. The rooms are basic but adequate and the owners run a great service if you want to do the famous Transalpine Crossing. They are very helpful and gave us loads of good tips about activities for when it rained. Overall...

The Adventure Lodge package for the Tongariro Crossing is excellent. It takes all the stress out of organising the weekend. Accommodation, meals and transport to and from the trail are all taken care of. Friendly, welcoming staff, great food and a range of options for rooms to stay. Basic but clean and sufficient amenities. Had a great weekend.

My friends and I chose "Tongariro Crossing Freedom Package" and we did have a wonderful memory here. All the staffs were friendly and like to help us when we had some questions. Our room was comfortable and clean, beds were good for sleeping. Love everything, every person we met here. Highly recommended for people who want to do the Tongariro...

This is a very simple, spartan hotel, designed for people interested in doing the Tongariro Alpine Crossing in Tongariro National Park. Rooms are clean, nest and well, if not luxuriously furnished. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. They arrange shuttles to and from the trek, etc. They do serve a simple breakfast from 6:30 on, perfect for trekkers....

thankyou for your review - we are not a "flash" place, but do like to offer homely, well organised and excellent service to our guests and we feel that makes up for everything else that may be lacking in our surrounds. We are very lucky to have the restaurants we have here and all within walking distance to us. Enjoy...

We stayed in a basic room, shared bathroom and kitchen space plus living area, it's a really friendly place, all the staff are lovely, the breakfast was great, good showers and personal service. Every morning John comes out to tell you about the conditions for the crossing and they take anyone who wants to do it out in their shuttle...

While staying at Aventure Lodge, my partner who is coeliac required a gluten free meal breakfast. This was no trouble for them. They provided helpful advice on activities. But there is more. When I lost the hire car's keys everyone went to great lengths to find them. In the end, so as not to ruin our day, Gill lent me...
