If you are looking for the Hilton or the Marriott, you won't find it here. If you are looking for a little piece of chocolate on your pillow, you won't find that either. What you will find is a great family owned hotel that only has 10 rooms. You will find Michael, the owner and his family that will go...

Expected more considering what has been written but was very disappointed with the overall cleanliness and character of the hostel. The photographs on the website do not relay the message that the hostel has seen better days. There are much better options on the island such as much Posada Ananda.

I think this person was travelling together with the other reviewer from July 6th who left an equally unimpressed and underwhelmed critique of us. Although I might be wrong. It's really hard for me - and probably for you - to reconcile these two sets of quite negative comments with (for example) the latest review from a lovely chap from...

This is fantastic budget accomadation, so dont expect 5 star. The rooms are very cosy with air conditioning. The family live there with there 4 dogs, 3 tortuises and a parrot, but are not a problem. So why excellent? the owner Michael will sit down with you for as long as it takes planning day trips, flights, boats, you name...

Honestly upon arriving we were a little shocked at the condition of our room since reading these amazing reviews. Nothing too terrible to say, I guess tripadvisor gave us such high expectations as everyone before us had Loved it! It's not the best place to stay in Margarita, not even by far, but for the money you pay and the...

Hi. Thanks for taking the time to write a review. First off, sorry if the room wasn't properly cleaned. Our cleaner was on her holidays and my 18 year old son was responsible for cleaning the rooms in her absence. He's a good boy, but maybe a bit on the lazy side (not like his Dad) so I should have...

On the Juan Griego beachfront lies Hotel Patrick. Owned by family man, Michael Harkness, it offers all a traveler can want. The place is littered with dogs and toddlers that provide a feeling that it's never empty. But nothing to keep you from sleeping late. Michael was very helpful with the efficient organisation of trips and with the money crisis...

A small, cosy hotel with a great atmosphere. You feel at home as soon as you arrive at the Hotel. The rooms are comfortable with and the main area has a bar, TV, pool table and hammocks so it's great to relax there. The staff are friendly and helpful and it's situated about 20 meters away from the bay where...

This is the only place to stay in Margarita, they owners are so friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Michael's music quiz is the best.!!! We experienced the Eco Village trip - a must if you have the time. It is a wonderful insight into the Rain forest and the people who live there. We took the 2 night trip,...

I spend 3 nights at Hotel Patrick and all I can see is that I felt very well there. Michael - the owner - himself is an awesome person (he saved my New Years´ Eve, by the way, by telling me the RIGHT place to go) and knows how to make the guest feel at home. My room was clean...

The staff make you feel like family. Micheal the owner did everything he could to help me with money, places to eat and where to go. Rosin who is working there makes the best breakfast and is also super helpful when you have questions about the island. The hostel is not far from some nice beaches and you can walk...
