We travelled an extra hundred miles from Merida to again experience the feel and excellence of this hotel, pet the dogs and have great food and libations with the owners. We got the same room at the end of the built out property and in the middle of jungle, with fan palms and other trees all around and multicolored tropical...

I've stayed at Romantic Santo Domingo before, so I knew what to expect, except the new room I stayed in this time had a bathroom that was out of this world. Now I know that a bathroom is not a reason to stay at a hotel, but sometimes the little things make all the difference in the world. I felt...

The rooms are immaculate, well designed, beautiful and a delight....

We didn't expect our second stay to turn out quite like it did. My friend left home and traveled to Mexico with a stomach bug. By the time we arrived in Izamal we needed to call a doctor to come to the hotel, or take her to a hospital. The owners Sonia and Harald recommended the doctor, made sure we...

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for two nights. It was faboulus. Big room with your own terasse, looking out to the lusch garden. We got a warm welcome by Sonia, the wife of the house, she showed us around. We were then treated to a drink, when Harald, Sonia's husband joined us and told us all about...

My wife and I spent a memorable day and night at this hotel. The cottages, set in a jungle environment, are spotless, spacious and delightful. We were served welcoming drinks on the patio that affords a splendid view of the surroundings in this scenic town. Harald, the owner, and his wife saw to our every need and comfort, from serving...
