We visited La Villa Bonita over the winter holidays. Robb and Ana's three charming kids were at home and were the perfect playmates for our kids! The cooking classes were so fun and laid-back that I didn't realize how much I was learning until I returned home and continued working my way through the recipes that Ana gave us. Tepotztlan...

I love to cook so my wife took me here for a 6 day culinary retreat and I was in heaven. Chef Ana welcomed us into her family and we honestly felt like we lived with them. She taught us how to cook, buy produce and experiment. More importantly, she introduced us to Mescal!

Last Christmas was our first visit to La Villa Bonita, and it won't be our last. The accommodations are very comfortable, the grounds are lush and beautiful, and the hosts are friendly and welcoming. Chef Ana really commands the kitchen -- don't expect to be pampered, you're there to learn how to cook! And learn we did -- tamales, chilis...

I just returned from my third visit to Tepoztlan and La Villa Bonita with Chef Ana and her always wonderful home. As always, it was an incredibly relaxing and educational time. The market visits were as lively and inspiring as I could hope for as we chatted to vendors and collected recipes and traditional methods to make what was on...

I just returned from my fourth visit to LaVilla Bonita. I first went 6 years ago. I was so impressed, I took all the female members of my family as a gift. They loved it. In fact, the girls all had so much fun, I have booked again in September to take them all. Next time I went with two...

My husband loves to cook and so I surprised him with a week here, and it was one of the best trips we have ever taken. Tepoztlan itself is a gorgeous town with cobblestone streets and a charming market. Each day started with a trip to a market with Ana, who is more than just a formidable chef and teacher,...

If you have any type of culinary experience leave it at home, you cook Ana's way and safety and sanitation are not high on the list. Negatives Dont sign up for the Sunday or any of the special gourmet candlelight dinner for $65 a person. You dont even get that much food and you can go to the local town...

Just had the privilege of spending a magical week at La Villa Bonita - wow, everything exceeded my expectations! Chef Ana and Robb made us feel incredibly welcome and taken care of, part of the family. Their property and its setting are stunning. Guest rooms are very comfortable with many nice touches - locally-made bath products, artwork, filtered water taps,...

Since our return from Villa Bonita we have been raving to all our friends about the wonderful time we had there. Our room was beautiful, serenely decorated in white on white, with a spacious wide verandah sitting area. Robb was there waiting for us at the airport as arranged, taking care of us, sorting our currency issues and delivering us...

Had a wonderful opportunity to be whisked away into the hillside of Tepoztlan. The chef Ana and her staff and family invited us into their culture, cooking and provided a relaxing week of shopping at open-air markets, and the community of guests to cook with, share skills and finally relax to an evening of home cooked Mexican cuisine. Our room...
