We enjoyed staying here but the pool was freezing cold and unusable when we were there. They let us use the jacuzzi once but then charged for its use the second night. Beds were basic and not that comfortable. Free coffee in the morning. Absolutely stunning views of the surrounding mountains from the rooftop terrace. Room 8 is the best...

My daughter got married in Tepotzlan and wedding party stayed at Posada Ali. While they were at breakfast ,the staff used a key to break into their room and stole two lap tops and two cameras. We knew something was fishy because the day before, the maids had emptied their suitcases and put their things in the bureau drawers. The...

We stayed here because it seemed a nice place, at a regular cost, and it also has a great location, but it was not a great idea. As far a you can see, this place was built as a house and not as a hotel, so rooms are distributed in a strange manner for a hotel. As someone said before,...

Nice room, but very hard bed. Great views of cliffs and ruins on an outdoor patio. Can be noisy, but good value overall. An older hotel with lots of character (in a good way). Good shower and lots of bottled water provided free (a nice perk). I paid $550

When I got to the hotel, I was initially satisfied. I had a room under the roof, which, while it offered limited possibilities for standing up straight, had great views of the mountains from both the room itself and the bathroom. Plus, there was a peaceful rooftop patio right over my room, where I sat for a while and admired...

I came from Australia to meet with Carlos Diaz in Tepoztlan. The Posada Ali was recommended to me by Sr Arturo Robles Gil, the famous Mexican photographer, and also by Sr Jamie Maussan who is a well known TV presenter. They were both correct about the fabulous views, and great people. I will be returning to Tepoztlan and I will...

I needed to stay in Tepoztlan for about a week, which is very unusual for this small town that caters to weekend visitors. I wanted to stay at a guest-house-type place and to save some money. Both Lonely Planet and a colleague recommended Posada Ali. I booked a suite with a king-sized bed, a couch, and a view of the...
