We enjoyed our stay at the inn. The hosts are kind and helpful. Things were kept clean and in line with health regulations during the pandemic. The gardens are breathtaking and the decor tasteful. The breakfasts were outstanding and the portions generous. It's a nice location to access many parts of the island. We especially enjoyed Brackley Beach, Thunder Cove and the Blue Mussel Cafe.

The Victoria Inn is situated in rural Prince Edward Island within walking distance of the center of the small town Kensington. It is an easy drive to Cavendish home of the famous music festival. There are rooms in the 100 year old house as well as and annex with rooms at the rear of the property. We stayed in the main house whereas our friends stayed in the annex so we spent time in both areas. The annex rooms have a sitting area and kitchen and they open to a veranda that is extremely pleasant for group entertainment. Guests in the main building have breakfast included but it is offered at extra charge to those in the annex. The breakfast was very enjoyable and I was pleased that we were in the main building. There is no air conditioning but the street is quiet so there is no issue leaving a window open from the upstairs room. The gardens and lawn surrounding the inn are beautiful and serene and we were visited by a family of wild foxes that live in the adjacent woods. We enjoyed our stay at the Victoria Inn and would return for another stay in the future

The quality of the accommodations, the breakfast provided and the helpfulness of the hosts are the main factors which determine the success of our stay at a B&B. All of these factors were completely outstanding for our stay at the Victoria Inn. We stayed in the Rosebriar room on the second floor at the front of the house. It was our choice as we prefer a separate shower rather than a tub/shower combination. The room is beautifully appointed and the en-suite is spacious. A restful night was enjoyed every night of our weeklong stay. The breakfast consisted of a baked main course, supplemented by fresh fruit, cereal, toast and a variety of home made preserves. Tea, coffee and juices were also available. Every day of our weeklong stay, started with a different main course and alternated between a sweet or savoury selection. All were were deliciously prepared and served with great appeal. Our hosts, Leighton and Camillia, were extremely concerned about our well being and to them we owe thanks for making our stay on PEI so enjoyable. When we made our booking we were planning to stay for just 5 nights, but Leighton said that if we stayed for 6 nights, the 7th would be free. This was useful information to us as the central location of the Victoria Inn allowed us to drive to many of the island’s sights. As a result, our weeklong stay was put to good use. The gardens surrounding the property are beautifully cared for by Camillia and she always had time to answer questions regarding any of the many different plants. Leighton provided us with many helpful suggestions of things to do and see which contributed to our enjoyable stay. A totally enjoyable time time spent at the Victoria Inn and we would absolutely recommend it.

The hosts of this small Inn are absolutely wonderful, they were very attentive to our needs and the breakfasts were superb. We stayed in a suite with a well-equipped kitchen and nice living space. I recommend it to anyone looking for a central place to stay on the Island.
