We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful B &B while doing The Island Walk in PEI The room was huge with a big jacuzzi tub to soak our tired feet in.
Doreen is a fantastic cook and breakfast was delicious. Wish we could have enjoyed the beautiful landscaped yard.
Thank you for the wonderful stay!

On day 2 of our hike on the island, my mother and I arrived at the Bryanton's a bit early, just as host Doreen was heading to the store. She said we could wait on her back porch, and let me tell you that wasn't a bad thing! Gorgeous property, huge backyard lovingly tended, hummingbirds coming and going. When she got back she offered us lemonade and showed us to our room. The entire house is absolutely spotless. Our room on the second floor was very comfortable and the bathroom is huge. Doreen even drove us the short distance to town for supper since we had already walked so much. After supper, mom and I played Scrabble on Doreen's board. It all felt very cozy.

The next morning, we had a big breakfast with fruit, biscuits, homemade jam, oatmeal and omelet while Doreen sat and chatted with us. It was raining, but we had prepared for that and we bundled up in our waterproof gear. Doreen was so impressed at our determination and took pictures of us like she was sending her kids off to their first day of kindergarden, and later sent them to me by email.

This is just a wonderful place to stay, and it's probably obvious that a big reason for that is the host herself. Do yourself a favour and stay at the Bryanton's if you are in the area.

What a spotless and beautiful B&B! Doreen was wonderful, very proud of the work that she and her husband did on the house to turn it into a B&B. The room was very comfy and breakfast was great. It is conveniently located across the street from the Confederation bicycle trail. Doreen dropped us at a nearby family-style restaurant in Kensington for dinner, and we walked back to the B&B on the Trail (we bicycled here).

Please allow me to begin this review with a testimonial to our hostess, Doreen. Doreen, you are an island treasure. Born and raised, a wealth of knowledge and experience let us plan our trips each day. Your place is immaculate and the attention to detail is impeccable. You are the epitome of Prince Edward Island and we can't wait to come back! You will be the very first call we make. The breakfasts were 5 star! I will try to do justice to your "Snow Grapes", although I'm afraid they won't come close. The grounds are amazing, although Canada's national bird, the mosquito, were in full season (lol), the hummingbird and Blue Jay that paid us a visit were icing on the cake! Thank you for everything!

We drove by the B & B the first time (which is right on the highway) but had no trouble finding it on the way back. We were met by Doreen, our hostess, and were shown to a beautiful room on the second floor with a private bath. No TV in the room but Doreen invited us to come down and watch TV in the living room. This is a beautiful house. The morning breakfast was delicious and quite plentiful--a real gourmet breakfast. Doreen visited with us as we ate and we thoroughly enjoyed our conversation with her, and then we were off to explore the Island. We would highly recommend this B & B.

My mom and I travelled to PEI this week, and a bit desperately called a few places on a nasty rainy evening when we arrived in Kensington. I spoke to Doreen when I called the Bryantons, and she was very friendly. Her prices were good and she had the setup we needed. We told her we would drive by and would be there shortly if we decided to stay. When we found the area, we saw this beautiful house set back on Route 6 and I said to my Mom..."if that's it, we're definitely staying there!" We were happy to discover the address matched. :) Well, this place is unbelievable. It's beautiful and large and clean and friendly...extremely so! The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. Our hostess was so sweet and friendly. She made a great recommendation for dinner and for things to do. We had a great time talking with her the first evening and at breakfast both days....and will definitely stay with her again whenever we make a trip to PEI! I highly recommend this B & B!

My 12 year old son and myself stayed with the Bryanton's in July/August 2012. I never met Mr. Bryanton but Mrs. Bryanton was great. They live in the basement part of the house. She was very accomodating and a wonderful cook. You are VERY spoiled for breakfast!!!! A beautiful country home. Just immaculate! We felt right at home and could use the liviing room, watch tv, internet, etc. It was central to the areas we wanted to explore as well. I highly recommend the Bryanton's!
