The hotel is a story of unfulfilled potential. It really could do with a refit/update. This said it is Cuba where shabby chic rules. The room was clean and basic but adequate. The staff were ok but like many places in Cuba not overly cheerful....More
Los Jazminos has the most stunning views and the prospect of a couple of days peace and quiet was shattered by the in house entertainer who insisted on shouting into a PA system welcome to every nationality, join in the swimming competition and learn to...More
The location is really good. From the hotel you see the mountains and the valley, so actually you do not have to go to something else. The room is spacious and clean. We had a little surprise with fresh flowers. There is a store at...More
The View from Los Jazmines is almost surreal its so lovely. Hotel itself is a little worn, as is very common in Cuba, but is still very lovely. The room was very clean. Its a short cheap taxi ride into Vinales town. Booked some wicked...More

We were there in March on an organised tour & our guide had to check us in as the person on reception had just no idea what to do. Just very laid back & not very efficient I think you'll just have to keep sending emails. There's not many hotels in that area & it could have been full when we were there. Just check with your card provider the entry has gone through first?

Hi, The hotel has a main building with terrace and pool and two wings on each side. I suggest that you try to get a room in the West wing i.e. left side of the hotel as they appeared to have a particular nice view. Having said that, views are great from everywhere up there.
I had a last minute booking so I stayed in the main building which was ok. Noise from the pool stopped at around 10:00pm. Rooms are pretty basic but functional. AC was a bit noisy but it is not that hot there due to elevation so sleeping with the window open is an option.
Included breakfast was good. Not sure about dinner as I went to the little restaurant on the left of the hotel - about 2 minutes walking. Food there was average but the atmosphere was really nice.
