We stayed overnight to attend a family celebration. A lovely old building sadly not looked after. On arrival the reception is unwelcoming with dusty, faded, tired display and seating area. The receptionist was polite given the stress of telling a party they had no rooms booked for them. We were handed keys and TV remote and advised where to find our...

Popped into the Tabot hotel on spec on a Sunday evening. The service was friendly at the bar with banter between the two bar staff over best country for wine. We only ordered a glass of red and tiramisu. But both were wonderful. The Tiramisu was so light, the red wine was Portuguese and well worth a try. If your...

We arrived to the establishment on the 8th of April 2017, first impression was that the place needed a good clean which is some what forgiving for a one night stay for a drink with old friends, however, the bed was held together with brackets and bodged up old bed bases (If you stay here you will know what I...

The food was lovely, the staff friendly and efficient, nothing was to much trouble, we used three rooms during the day, one for the ceremony another...

This has got to be by far the worst hotel I have stayed in. Some may say it is quirky, but in reality it is an absolute nightmare of a hotel. It is noisy, dirty , the doors don't fit. I sat at a breakfast table which was propped p by a small plate to level it up and stop...

The location of this Hotel is good, right on the High Street and free parking behind is a bonus. The Hotel is very old and quirky with uneven floors and low doors etc. The room was basic but adequate, a valance on the bed would help so you don't see the stains, we were in room 28 and although the...

Whilst it should be benefiting from its olde world charm and location on the High Street unfortunately the hotel is let down largely by the customer service. The customer service we received upon arrival was shocking. Being told sternly that the check in time did not commence to 2 and then later being given all the does and don'ts around...
