Only stayed here for one night and the only problem is the noise from the main road. Would come again as it is in a handy spot when you are travelling elsewhere. We opted to have our breakfast in the B&B. The breakfast was perfectly cooked and plenty of it. The toilets and showers are nice and clean.

Where to start...The campsite was by a busy road, it was really expensive for what you were getting i.e. 7 pound per person (there was four of us-so that was nearly 30 quid), they didn't have a card machine so in order to use my credit card I had to spend a minimum of 5 pound in her pub/restaurant in...

The main focus of our trip away was to canoe along the Wye river so The Pound campsite was a good base for us. We stayed two nights and we were not disappointed. It is very clean (showers and toilets spotless), the lawn itself is very flat and well looked after. We enjoyed breakfast at only £6pp which was large...

Used The Pound as a hub for canoeing over the weekend, staying 2 nights in total. Very well looked after at a good price. Shower/toilet block was spotless. Breakfast offered at £6pp and was huge and very tasty! Dog friendly with a pub just outside for the nights when you can't be bothered to cook offering a wide selection of...

We stayed here for a BB weekend in the accommodation block in the camping field. On arrival we were instantly made to feel at home with a great cup of tea and a slice of homemade fruit cake which was really delicious.. mmmm. The bedrooms were clean tidy and more than adequate for us. These bedrooms are not ensuite but...

Pros: A fantastic lawn field that was teeming with lots of bird life Excellent toilets and showers, which were spotless Close to the river and The Boat Inn pub Cons: Close to a busy road with noisy traffic The lady in charge of the campsite I called ahead on behalf of the group in the morning and had a relatively...

Great location as there is a fantastic restaurant opposite. Shower and toilet block extremely clean and owner was very friendly. A good location for camping if wanting to go canoeing although transport required as there is nothing else there

I've never camped on such a flat campsite - there was barely a bump in the grass - which was absolute luxury. The grass was well tended, as was the campsite as a whole. The loos and showers were clean, and hot water and showers are included in the price - always good. There was, however, no soap in the...

Arrived with two other couples, one in a van one in a caravan to be met by Carol and Rob, perfect couple , no non-sense approach, hooked my friends up to main, even opened up the shower block after we returned from a damp canoe down the river, would highly recommend staying here, great facilities and a great pub across...
