We were visiting the area for a family wedding, we took all the rooms in the house and all were great. The beds were extremely comfortable - no bad backs in the mornings. The owners of the house were away for the weekend and we were looked after by Caroline. We arrived on Friday afternoon and were greeted with coffee,...

Quiet location with garden gate through to sea front. Beautiful boutique bedroom and amazing bathroom with blue low level lights and candles. Lots of extra touches such as tea and cupcakes on arrival, a very comprehensive hospitality tray and lovely bathroom toiletries. Very comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. We will be back!

What a truly excellent venue. A warm welcome awaited us on arrival with tea and cake being swiftly provided. Every care was taken to cater for my 92 year old Aunt. The rooms are first class and would rival any top end Hotel. Easy parking and ideally located, this is a must for those visiting Gosport and Portsmouth but want...

This 3 room B & B is by far the best I have ever stayed in. Rooms are named The Mulberry, Juno and Gold to reflect the role the house played in the planning for D-Day. Better for comfort than many 4* hotels. Decor and facilities of the highest quality. Greeted by Sally with tea and cake. Comfy beds, a...

We stayed for 2 nights over the New Year period and were simply blown away by this truly lovely B&B. Its at the end of a quiet road so no passing traffic but still very close to Stokes Bay with walks along the Solent and views across to the Isle Of Wight. Sally and Steve were most welcoming and the...

We guessed it was never going to be easy to find a decent Bed & Breakfast for one night on a weekend break during school half-term in Gosport. .. (or so we thought) … Leaving it to the last minute, our usual ports of call (Booking.com and Trip Advisor) were scanned through to get a shortlist. Somewhere not too far...

i spent two nights in this cosy property a quiet location, good if you have a car, otherwise, you'll rather need a taxi to get anywhere, but taxis are not too expensive in gosport. besides of a nice garden inside the property, there is a door at the fence that leads you to the a stone beach after a nice...

I stayed at Windbrake House for one night with my husband whilst visiting relatives in the area. When we arrived Sally showed us to our room, Mulberry, then gave us coffee and cake in the garden. The room was very spacious and well equipped with views of the garden and the sea. After a good night's sleep we were treated...

Where do I start with Windbrake House. Beautiful boutique House, set in a stunning surrounding with great views on the sea. Sally and Steve the owners, were more than helpful. Explained what was what in the hotel, and even though we were in a rush as we were attending a wedding next door, they explained all we needed to know....
