I spent an incredibly happy week at Finca Buenvino at the beginning of September as part of Elaine Kingett's Write-it-Down course. In writing this review I will struggle to find anything to complain about as every aspect about this Spanish home was, for me, perfect in every way. The bedrooms (I saw them all) are comfortable, and beautifully decorated, each...

Finca Buenvino has it all from luxurious bedding and comfortable beds to wonderful candlelit evening meals and the most hospitable hosts. I attended a week long cooking school and stayed in the room overlooking the road on the third floor. Buenvino is surrounded by a chestnut and cork oak forest, it is tranquil and the nights are quiet. A short...

Our two week stay at Finca Buenvino was perfect. We rented one of the Chesterton's self catering villas (with it's own pool!) and popped up to the stunning main house (with B and B rooms available) for delicious tapas, drinks and mountain paella. Oh, and I mustn't forget that the incredible meal was enjoyed after a swim in their beautiful...

This remarkable place, just over an hour from Seville, doesn't fit a category, as it is truly a memorable one off. It has all the luxurious space and airiness of a hotel, stupendous views form the hilltop vantage point, but the intimate feel and warmth of the place stems from the extraordinarily welcoming hosts Jeannie and Sam. I came for...

Beautiful! Peaceful! Magical! Unique! Remarkable! Delightful! Unspoilt!.....As you can probably tell - I love this place, along with the Sierra de Aracena which likewise never fails to amaze. No matter how many visits we notch up. Jeannie, Sam and their Family are always the best of hosts [and Jeannie the best of cooks] Their wonderful pink Cortijo at the top...

Stayed for three nights in the house and one of the cottages and didnt want to leave! The family are brilliant and cannot do enough for you. Food is amazing and the conversation was just great! If you have a chance, have a meal with the family and listen to Sam's life story! If you are looking for a reasonable...

Finca Buenvino truly is a wonderful place. I think there's confusion over the listings and Its' been listed twice - both here, and under Finca Buen Vino, Huelva. See my review there in full, and more photos too.

A little slice of Andalucian heaven. We arrived for the first 4 nights of our honeymoon, just over an hour from Seville and took a cosy little suite at the top of the house, including wonderful steam shower for two, just perfect for us. Amazing, panormaic views from every terrace and window with the most superb view coming from the...
