Keep the structure built in the 1700's, the location, and a staff member Roberto and his helper and get rid of EVERYTHING else. The place is dirty, grimy, cheaply restored and poorly maintained and managed. The furniture and upholstered furniture is gray from dust. Lamp shades are never dusted and if you cant reach a surface easily it is not...

We stayed for 3 nights at the start of September. We arrived late due to a delayed flight and hire car faff, but the receptionist was still there at 2130 luckily. The room was a good size and what I would consider fairly traditional. The shower wasn't the most powerful and up to date, but otherwise the room was comfortable....

Very nice stay, perfect "base camp" for daily trips to must go places around like Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, etc. Villa offers 4 course dinners every day, we tried it just once, but we were satisfied. Afternoon relax at the pools (2, not just one) was one the daily highlights.

Visited to check it out. Owner showed us around...Claudio. It was well maintained on the exterior. Tiny lobby. Dining room was awful....gold table clothes that look like they need washing.....no ambience at all. How horrible it would be to eat there. Not at all charming. He showed us a room...the lights could not be turned on ..so he opened the...

Overall I think this stay was very enjoyable. The view is amazing and has put a smile on our faces. The breakfast was great, good coffee, great service and all you need on a table. Outdoors, the swimming pool was delightful but one remark to the owner is to place more lounge chairs and please some matresses....our backs cannot withstand...

We stayed here as it was one of the two recommended hotels for a wedding in the area. Unfortunately we were disappointed in the experience. We had a 3+2 villa: two stories- the downstairs a kitchenette and pullout couch in the living room; the upstairs a single room and a double room with two bathrooms. Very spacious! However the experience...

We greatly enjoyed our four night stay at Villa San Filippo. The views are stunning and spectacular and I'll remember them forever. This is precisely what I hoped to see and enjoy in Tuscany. The house is hundreds of years old, so it has some quirks. But the views more than made up for any minor inconveniences.

The Resort is set in the most beautiful Tuscany countryside, just a short walk from a little village. The apartments were well presented and of a very high standard. The staff are a credit to the Resort and cannot do enough to help you. There are numerous wine tasting venues nearby and some very good restaurants as well as day...

My husband and I recently stayed at this lovely hotel as part of a small group tour with Oddysseys Unlimited. We found it to be a beautiful hotel with wonderful views. It is well situated for touring Tuscany and Chianti sites. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Our window looked out on the vinyards beyond. There is little wifi...
