Staying here right now in an apartment on 2 levels (the one on the website with the painted ceiling). Stylish, well designed, a nice mix of contemporary and ancient. Apartment comes with a lovely terrace. Crucially for us, very quiet. Extremely well located in the heart of the historical area. But, be warned, many steps from the main Corso Umberto...

If you are visiting Modica and want to look for a place right in the middle of it all, THIS is the one! It is super quaint, tastefully done and very historic. A 19th century building turned into a B&B is what you want when you are in Italy. I loved my stay here and wished it was longer. The...

Up a quiet pedestrian street, in the middle of town. A beautifully restored home with very comfortable accomodations. The owner speaks excellent English and has many suggestions for restaurants, sightseeing etc. Modica is a quiet, lovely, clean and safe town....and a wonderful stopping-off place enroute to Taormina to the north or Agrigernto to the west.

Lovely place in a lovely town. Be aware that L'Orangerie is on a "street" that is a set of about 40 broad, shallow steps; you'll park on the main street, Corso Umberto I, and carry your luggage up. (Find parking near the pharmacy if you can - the side street is very near it.). Your reward, at the top of...

We stay at L'Orangerie for one night last September. Having arrived in Modica from the bus station, it was a good 15-20 minute walk. The owner provided directions, which we very glad of and I don't think we would have found L'Orangerie without these. L'Orangerie is an atmospheric oasis, and feels a little bit like stepping back in time due...

This B&B is really worth trying. Hidden in a small street located above curso Umberto 1, but not difficult to find based on the owner's inputs. It is quite easy to park the car nearby, on curso Umberto 1. The house is very nicely decorated; not only the ceilings, but also the choice of furnitures and arrangements of the rooms....

I find this a very difficult review to write because we did end up enjoying ourselves but let me start by saying this is NOT a “high quality” B&B as advertised. Great location in the heart of Modica but be aware that it is at the opposite end of town from the bus depot. While this is a pleasant 15...

A stylish b&b with lovely bathrooms and good breakfasts. Well located in the heart of Modica with parking reasonably close. The owner is very friendly and helpful - his recommendation for a fish restaurant nearby was brilliant. One of the best meals we have ever eaten - Borgo Antico.

Three of us stayed here for a week and had bright well furnished rooms with sparkling en suite facilities. We had an adjoining balcony which although small was pretty. Jasmine petals scented the rooms and corridors. The house has 7 rooms including suites and all are very tastefully furnished and there are interesting frescoes on the ceilings. Breakfaxt is taken...

We stayed at a SUPERB B & B in the center of the city, L’Orangerie. Room was beautiful, with a nice terrace. Have a good Modica city map—otherwise it is very hard to find. Parking is also a challenge—try hard to find a spot on the main avenue (Corso Umberto?)—L’Orangerie is steps away from it
