Beautiful seaside spot, with the sound of waves at night. Friendly staff, everything clean and functional, somewhat dated decor but nice enough. We did miss an extra blanket at night, breakfast was too industrial for our taste and the butter was stale. Clearly much improved since some of the other comments.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Garzia in early October 2013. We had a very positive experience -- the first thing that impressed us was the friendliness of the staff and how the hotel seems very comfortable and "homey." It's true that the rooms aren't luxury in their furnishings, but everything was clean and we felt very much welcomed... More

The hotel is a little dated, and it seemed to by frequented mostly by Italian tourists. I think we were the only non Italian speaking guests. I generally like this, because it makes experiences more authentic, but nevertheless the hotel was nothing special at all. We got a room with a window to the back, facing a yellow wall, and... More

This is a difficult hotel to review, as the varied comments from others have shown, because it is truly 'hit and miss'. This hotel is on a street of restaurants and other smallish hotels immediately beside the sea. This was acceptable in early season, but might be far too hot and noisy for finicky English in August. There is no... More

This is a largely uninspiring corner apart from the great Greaco-Roman ruins. The hotel is welcoming - reception staff were very helpful in the week previous to our stay. Contrary to other reviews we thought the breakfast was great. Our room was average: basic but roomy with temperamental air/con. High quality cleaning etc. Well situated for restaurants! Across the raod... More

Could not have asked for a nicer hotel. Own Balcony over looking the sea. Staff were superb. even re-charged my MP3 player as the wall charger had packed in. Had probably the best meal of trip in the restaurant.

Situated right on the beach and a short walk to the archaeological site. However, totally without charm. Barely adequate breakfast, drab rooms and, on my visit, a distinct lack of hot water. Despite its location gives out an aura of bleakness.
