Booked as part of our tour, we were very pleasantly surprised with the high class of this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and the pool is a great size with access to the beautiful skies (and a nearby pool bar). The restaurant was top notch, at which I recommend the spaghetti amatriciana.
The Tarthesh is an unusual property with a somehow spartan but stylish feeling. The pool area is very large and somehow spectacular fitting the overall architecture well. Guspini is a good location to visit the costa verde and come back to the hotel. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast and wifi were very good quality.
Probably one of the best hotels of its type I have ever visited . The owners attention to design detail is breathtaking which has a wonderful mix of different cultures and design . Wonderful airy and practical rooms and suites, much developed in recent years from the owners extensive world travels . Set in a massive lush garden with large imaginative rock swimming pool . Great semi outdoor restaurant with courtyard with excellent food and great breakfast . The service in the reception and restaurant could not be more helpful . This a very good stop off also for tourists , bikers and E bikes generally and is a very secure place . Ideal stop off place on the way down to the south coast .
Whilst Guspini would not be my choice of location (other reviews on TA are pretty spot on I'd say) the hotel and gardens are a delight. Our room was roomy and comfy if not quite sumptuous. Breakfast and dinner were delightful and snacks from the pool bar area, whilst simple, were just what we needed. The pool itself was glorious and, like the hotel, not at all busy for our 5 night stay during the last week of August. I do want to mention the staff who were, without exception, friendly and courteous. If I am to be critical then (that's the point of these is it not) there really could be more by way of tourist info (English I'm afraid) and the bar is to be frank poorly stocked (yes, I'm English). The first evening they had run out of Gin! (and whilst on the subject €5 for small beer (the ubiquitous Ichusa - not that there is anything wrong with that) is a bit steep guys. That apart this really was the perfect place for us to r e l a x into our fortnight in Sardinia. Thank you. P.S. I would just add that whilst other reviews mention the hotel could use some care and attention I must assume that this has been acted upon. When we visited. The whole place was immaculate.…
Nice and quite hotel, suites are confortable, clean and silent. Great gardens and pool (the best). There is also a private parking space for clients. More variety of fruits and scrambled eggs at breakfast will definitely improve the rate of the hotel. Ideal for visiting Costa Verde beaches and Cagliari.
