A very well-kept B&B hidden in an alley in Gallipoli, just a few steps from the city walls overlooking the sea. A good breakfast is served on the city walls overlooking the sea by Mario, who is a perfect host as he takes care of all the guests' needs, and what a breakfast... lots of fresh delicious pastries from a local pasticceria await the guests every morning. Mario is very responsive to any specific information one requires before arrival and during the stay and gives a warm welcome to the guests upon arrival. Since B&B is located in the old town which is not accessible to non-resident cars, he shows guests where they can park the car for free just outside the city walls, which is a short walk away, and he also contacts the local authorities for authorization of the car to enter the centre for drop off and pick up of luggages upon check-in/check out. The rooms are very well kept and they are cleaned every day. They include all the amenities one would want/ need during vacation. Mario provides guests with suggestions of the best restaurants in town and he also manages to reserve tables for his guests even when all the good restaurants are full. If I will return to Gallipoli, I will certainly choose this B&B again and again. Keep it up Mario!

This is a really pretty B&B with a wonderful host. It was in a peaceful spot with a lovely, sunny courtyard for breakfast. Mario was a fantastic host, so welcoming and accommodating. There are lots of little extra things he’s thought to provide including wine glasses, beach sun shades and he left an umbrella out for us on a rainy day. The place was spotlessly clean too. I would absolutely stay here again, it was a pleasure.

Stunning property located in the heart of Gallipoli. Beautiful decor inside and out, it was like being in our own little Italian haven, people passing by would always stop to admire the beautiful court yard. Mario our host, was fantastic! He took care of us from the moment we arrived till we left, he parked our car, booked our restaurants, and pointed us in the direction of all the best spots. Breakfast was delicious, and vast! Location was fantastic, right in the heart of the old town, but remarkably peaceful. We feel lucky to have found this beautiful B&B and Mario, it made our trip to Gallipoli magical!

Mario is the best host you can imagine. He takes really care of you and gives you the best recommendations. As a young person traveling alone he was like an italian second father to me. My parents booked his B&B already for next year because they loved all the stories. As I was traveling by train, Mario picked up my big suitcase and bag on his amazing pink scooter (I was a bit jealous obviously). He even put stuff from my bag like food on the shelves. I had the blue ‘smaller’ room but it was still very big. It was very clean. The bed was amazing and soft. Aircon worked really good. Different lights that worked really well. When i asked for a taxi driver to praja (night club) he gave me a number. It was a good taxi that got me in for free! I asked to not clean the room so i could sleep in, he left me 2 pastries on the bar so I would still have breakfast. Mario speaks only italian but slowly and patient. Its very good to practice your italian! But if you dont understand he will use Google translate. On whatsapp he talks in whatever language you prefer. Normally in b&b’s I use the Google translate to italian so it was very nice of him! Ask him definitely for food recommendations, they are worth it! He has a room for hand wash for clothing and you can use free beach umbrellas. There is also a fridge and freezer you can use. Then finally o my God the breakfast. So delicious and A LOT. Mario doesnt want you to leave with any bit of hunger. Boiled eggs, fruit, salami, mozzarella, toast with olive oil and tomatoes, pastries etcetera. He will check up on you to make sure you are happy. He has doggy bags for the pastries. Mario if you read this, grazie mille! People don’t hesitate to go here because you feel like a spoiled princess. Plus gallipoli is lovely!

Mario was extremely accommodating from the start until the end of our stay in Gallipoli. Every morning, he always surprised us with a fantastic variety of local pastries, fresh fruit and local traditional dishes, not forgetting the lovely Italian coffee for breakfast. Mario provided us with lots of information to help with our travels around the province, even though our Italian lacked, Mario was always very helpful in explaining and showed us where to park in Gallipoli. The parking massively helped us! The facilities were beautiful; the patio porch was one of my favourite. Lots of bigs pots and ornaments, always kept tidy. The bedroom and bathrooms were amazingly decorated with different tiles. Superbly clean and tidy. With no complaints. A perfect quaint bed and breakfast in a spot on location in Gallipoli! I would highly recommend staying with Mario in B&B Corte Casole. We would love to return in the future! Grazie Mille Mario! 🇮🇹
