This B&B is located on a very nice location close to several beaches and nice sights. Close to the beautiful city Gallipoli. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortabel. The European full breakfast is really nice. It’s recommended to have are car at your disposal.
When you arrive at the property you are welcomed by 2 huge gates! When they open the most wonderful drive way apears, the smell of rosemary in the afternoon when driving up will always stay in my mind. Martino and his team are very welcoming, we were greeted with refreshments after a long drive and recommendations on where to eat and what beach to use, the room is spacious and very clean and with the greatest air conditioning system I've ever used. Breakfast was a treat every morning, such a great host and such a great place to stay. Thanks so much Adam and Katie
We spent an all-too-short two days at this delightful, classic residence turned B and B in mid-May. The carefully-restored house is set in a lush garden, immediately across from the beach, so offers peace and quiet or a lively promenade, at your choice. Martino and Christina, the host and hostess, are absolutely charming and went well out of their way to make us welcome and ensure that our every want was satisfied. Definitely number one during our month's tour of Southern Italy.
We stayed at this B&B for three nights and had a great time. It was a great base for beach time and to explore the Salento coast north of Gallipoli. The beach is literally over the road from the B&B gates - you cannot swim there but if you walk 0.5km to the left you can swim. There is a good little local supermarket that sells sandwiches and next door to it is a cafe/bar that is nice too. Martino is a lovely host and very patiently taught me a little of the Italian language. Martino recommended very good restaurants that were a 5 minute drive away in Santa Maria Al Bagno, and a wonderful geltaria-bar called Desideria in Santa Caterina - try the Shaffon ice-cream - it was amazingly delicious! Breakfasts at the B&B were very, very good. The room itself met all of your needs. The gardens are very pretty and calming. I highly recommend this B&B.…
A wonderful B&B if you are looking for a quiet place to relax and be treated to the utmost hospitality. We stayed for 5 nights and wish we didnt have to leave. The property was beautiful, rooms were spacious and clean. The food at the restaurant on site was delicious and most importantly, the owner, Martino, was an absolutely gem! The B&B is well situated a few KM away from the old town and well-placed to reach all the nice beaches by car. I highly recommend Porto Lapillo and Punta Prosciutto. I would definitely return to this B&B once again.
