We stayed with Gennaro and Carmella for three days in mid September 2015.We have travelled extensively in Italy and stayed in many agriturismos and B and B's. This was without doubt the best. The house is purpose built and very comfortable. The wi fi was excellent. There are fine views over the verdant Cilento. The dinners were a highlight with... More

This family-run guest house is set in a farm in the beautiful hills of the Cilento National Park, close to the village of Rutino. Within a 30 minute drive are the coastal towns of Agropoli and St Marco, the attractive beach at Baia di Trentova and the fascinating ancient Greek towns of Velia and (a bit farther) Paestum. Stayed for 2 nights in July to visit Rutino where my family came from! Gennaro, Carmela and Carmen are fantastic hosts/ess. Rooms are great, linens are fresh and crisp. Food is soo fresh! You will not go hungry. They went out of their way to make us at home. I truly recommend a visit there. I can't wait to go... More

We stayed at I Tre Tigli for 5 nights, and absolutely loved it. We arrived early evening to a tasty home cooked meal, brought out in stages by the delightful Gennaro, Carmen and Carmella. They explained what we were eating and where it came from. Everything is so fresh and much is grown and raised on their farm. They have... More

We stayed for four nights in mid October 2014. The location, on the top of a valley just outside the pleasant small town of Rutino, is excellent. The grounds are private, quiet, and exceedingly well-kept, with a very nice view into the hills. The house itself is pretty, and it is clear that a lot of thought went into its... More

We stayed in this countryhouse for three nights, but would have stayed longer if we had the time. Gennaro and his family are great hosts with a real passion for hospitality. The countryhouse and its surroundings are a great environment to recharge after visiting the hectic and polluted Bay of Napels. Bring a good appetite when staying at I Tre... More

This was an amazing B&B!! The family was so welcoming! The food was fabulous... taken from the forest, gardens, and live stock. The rooms were beautiful. Rutino is a perfect place to step back in time and enjoy the beauty of Italy. Thank you Gennaro and Francesca for a wonderful Rutino Experience!
