I stayed at Eltina from 28th August - 11th September 2022. The property is very close to the strip of Malia’s night life with fantastic bars (Mint being my personal favourite with their amazing watermelon fish bowl). There are some really nice Greek restaurants just opposite all within a 5 min walking distance from Eltina apartments. My partner Scott and I picked this place to stay due to some amazing reviews and we were not let down at all.! Both Petros and his mother Maria are fantastic, they serve great food & drinks, and the atmosphere around the pool bar has been enjoyed by all here. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great environment just around the corner from the lively strip of Malia. Perfect for a lads/girls or even couples holiday. Things to note the ATM exchange rates are not great at all as you actually lose money using them. Make sure you bring cash for Eltina however the strip takes card.! If I had to make a complaint about anything it would be that the beds are a little hard but after a drink “who cares”.. :D Definitely value for money with daily maid cleaning. Would definitely come back.!

The hotel was very clean and had everything we needed. The food and drinks were also great offering a good variety at fair prices. The aircon was brilliant and great pool/bar area.
Petros was an amazing host. He helped us with anything we needed and pointed us in the direction of good restaurants, nearby towns and fair quad bike hire stores. Overall great guy and made our holiday.

This is the perfect hotel for a girls holiday. The owners Petro and Maria were the most wonderful people they gave us loads of recommendations and were super chill. Super good location perfect distance from the strip. The bar downstairs has cheap drinks and amazing food deals with a full English breakfast for €7! It is a cash only hotel so make sure to bring cash - if you forget there is an ATM right outside the hotel.

My partner and I (26&28) went early September, we were looking for an affordable place to stay and we had the best time here thanks to Petro and Maria. They are a mother and son duo that host the bar, they created a warm and relaxing atmosphere and even hosted a family style BBQ for everyone from the hotel who wanted to come. It was a small amount of 15-20€ and the food was incredible, including Maria's homemade potato salad which I'm still thinking about. Can't recommend this place enough, we made some great friends here and hopefully we'll be back soon.

Me and my misses stayed there for 2 weeks and will go back tomorrow if we could. Absolutely amazing place to stay we had so much fun there staff was brilliant petnos was great and so was mother Maria. You must come to this hotel if your looking to party hard for your malia stay the atmosphere was surplus to requirements.. We danced herw ate here and even done some swimming. 2 things to note beds are hard and the venue at the bar area only excepts cash but you can use your card on malia strip. I must say i will book here again if i was to ever return to malia i will most definitely be staying here again. I met some great friends here also the bedrooms was clean everyday, If your looking for fun and a great hoilday this by far will be your ideal place to stay. Such a welcoming place me and my partner are both aged 33 and 37 and lived like we was 21 again i couldn't recommend a more better place to stay. Great value for money and food and drinks are both priced reasonably well. If you get a chance to have the BBQ aswell your in for a treat as it was the best food i ate sinces being in malia. Thanks for having us and making are trip such a memorable time.

Staying at Eltina Apartments in Malia was an unforgettable experience, thanks to the incredible hospitality of Petros and Maria, the owners. By the end of the trip, Petros didn’t just feel like a host — he felt like a best friend. He welcomed us like family, always making sure we had everything we needed. But what really stood out? Petros even came out with us to the strip, showing us the best spots and making the night out so much fun!
The apartments themselves were spotless, spacious, and perfectly located close to Malia’s nightlife while still being peaceful for a good night's sleep. The pool area was perfect for relaxing after our nights out (Which we needed).
If you’re looking for an amazing place to stay with a host who truly cares, Eltina Apartments is the spot. Thanks to Petros, we didn’t just have a great holiday—we made a lifelong friend! We will see you next year!! - Jack P

Really nice place to stay. Can get food and drinks at any time of the day at the bar.
Petros and other owners are all genuine and nice people who made us all feel very welcome.
Really enjoyed our stay. Would strongly recommend staying here if you are looking for somewhere nice.

5* given for the staff and friendliness at the hotel. Came here for 10 days. Made to feel so welcome as soon as we arrived. Maria and her son, Petros, are the best. Our room wasn't ready so we were offered a free drink while we waited. Watch the Raki tho as its like rocket fuel haha! They couldn't do enough for anyone who was here throughout our stay. Marias food is lovely, don't expect anything fancy off Petros- he's no Gordon Ramsey haha!Told us the best places to eat and drink, and have a look around! Rooms are quite small and very basic, but nice and clean. 2 pools and bars at the hotel, although only Milos, round the back, was open. It was lively enough so the other one isn't really needed unless you fancy just chillin quietly away from the fun side of the hotel. Eltina is about a 10min walk from the Malia strip, and some lovely bars and restaurants. Don't overdress thought as places are very hot and sweaty with not many fans around to cool you down. If you can, hire a moped or quad and go to Stalis for a change of scenery, only 5-10min drive. Some great pubs down there with live entertainment. This hotel is definately for young groups, us oldies couldn't keep up ha! Anything you need here, just ask, and im sure Maria or Petros will do their best to help. Thanks guys. x

Amazing hotel and owners Maria and Petros couldnt do enough for you the beds are the comfiest ever as as the sunbeds Air con added extra but not to high priced as it comes with safe and wifi package and is a def must Food and drink are reasonabily priced Hotel is 5mins from old town and 15mins from the beach Nothing is too much trouble Mix of young and old guests Will def be back

Booked last minute on Saturday 3/6/23 and flew out on 4/6/23 for a week. Was pleasantly surprised when we got there as the entrance was small but presented really well. Check in was easy and room was very clean and had all amenities required if you chose to eat in (we didn’t do this). Clean towels and bedding changed frequently. Public areas kept spotless. Prices are great for drinks and food, food also tasty. To top it off Maria & Petros make you feel so welcome and nothing is too much for them. A special thanks to both of them for their concern in a certain situation I won’t go into on here but their help was very much appreciated.
