Detailed Reviews
Me and my mate booked this while we were absolutely hammered, I woke up in the morning with a sore head and second thoughts, thinking I’d made a big mistake. However it’s turned out to be one of the best drunken decisions I’ve ever made.
When we arrived I didn’t know what to expect, however we were greeted and welcomed immediately by Nikos and Maria, who are only the best hotel owners to walk the earth. They couldn’t do more to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The place is self catering and rooms have cooking facilities, but why would you want to cook when you can order food from a menu with seemingly unlimited options at great prices. The Bargain Breakfast™️ for €3 is an absolute life saver when you’re rough in the mornings. Nothing is too much of an ask and they will happily go to great lengths for you, such as Nikos flying me down to a cash machine on his moped at about 2am because I’d ran out of pennies.
The reps, Amelia and Krissi are a pair of absolute legends. They put on a cracking quiz for us one night, which we still lost even though we were secretly googling the answers underneath the table.
Next you’ve got Danny AKA “The Captain”, who is the security guard that works the night shift. Me and Danny have developed a bit of a bromance over the past week, and he’s even invited me to go boozing with him in his home country of Albania next year!
Nothing takes your mind off a hangover better than Yannis the barman baffling your head with magic tricks. The kid’s like the Greek version of Dynamo. Not gonna lie half the time I was still leathered and had no idea what he was even doing, but it’s still good.
All in all, with covid knocking about and a midnight curfew, I never thought it was going to be as good as this. If you’re a young group of lads/girls and want to go out and get steaming on the Malia strip every single night, then this is the place to stay. I’ve gotta go and self isolate for 2 weeks back home now but it was well worth it. We’ll 100% be coming back here next year!

Arrived at the Primavera not expecting too much as this was one of the cheapest hotels in Malia. I was greeted with a welcome drink and when all the paperwork was done shown to my room by Nicos the owner.
The room was basic but adequate and had a new bathroom which included a rain shower, this turned out to be a bonus as the weather was so hot. Plenty of cutlery and crockery if you need to cook in the room but why bother when the food at the pool bar is so good and very reasonably priced.
The pool is not too big and only 1.3m at its deepest but never got too busy, there were always sun loungers available. Maria was always close by to make sure you did not run out of refreshments by the pool.
The location is great, about 200m to the beach and about 400m to the main strip. There are shops and restaurants within 100m of the hotel.
Nicos and Maria and their staff go out of their way to help and give lots of advice on where to go and what to see.
On leaving I felt like part of the family, so much so that I have just booked to go again next week.
Nicos and Maria thank you very much for a great holiday, keep up the good work.

Overall a 5* experience here. The rooms were simple, had air conditioning, a toilet, shower, sink and had basic cooking facilities if needed. The pool was very clear, had lots of sunbeds and space in the shade. The prices at the pool and hotel bar were identical with food being nice, cheap and functional. Drinks here were as cheap as anywhere else, yet were of a higher quality. The main stand-out were the staff. The two barmen, Alex and Yanny (Yannie?), were brilliant the whole week. They gave suggestions where to go, where to avoid and felt like part of the group of friends we went with. They were happy to do anything and would always make sure you were looked atfer, even hammering half of our group at connect 4 and pool. Maria and Nikos were also very friendly and gave advice on where to eat, including their new restaurant which we didn't have a chance to go to but the reviews were great. The night security was also very helpful, friendly and made you feel incredibly safe when coming back after a night out. Rooms were cleaned regularly and the cleaning staff were very nice and respectful of your possessions.
Overall, this was a brilliant holiday and we're looking forward to coming back, hopefully with less sunburn and less hangovers next time - thank you Primavera!

Primavera has been hands down the best hotel I’ve stayed. The hotel has so many benefits compared to regular hotels I’ve stopped in previously,
the staff offer spectacular social events (BBQ night and Quiz Night) which really gets the hotel community mingling together and makes the experience so many times better.
The customer service has been incredible for the full duration of my stay. They staff members are all so motivated to make impress the customer and all ways go the extra step which is definitely noticed by all.
They have a brilliant menu of food and drinks which everyone can enjoy. The menu is a good price for the quality of food and drinks we received.
The location is very good too. Plenty of shops scattered around the property. It is also a stone throw away from the beautiful sea, and a 5 minute walk to all the bars and clubs.
All together my stay has smashed satisfactory results. I will be definitely returning to primavera when I next come back to my favourite holiday location MALIA! Hopefully we see each other soon.

Just got back from a week stay in Primavera. This hotel is definitely rated 5* on trip advisor for a reason. Nikos and his family are all so accommodating and can’t do enough for you. My friend lost her phone one day in malia and nikos helped her for over an hour to find it. The food, drinks and vibe of the whole hotel is amazing. It is all clean throughout and just next to the beach where there are really nice cocktail bars and right next to the strip too, so you can have a chilled night or party night and chill out with a cocktail by the pool the next day! Would definitely recommend trying the 3 euro bargain breakfast they do, we had it every day of our holiday!
We would definitely recommend and definitely stay here if we were going to malia again.
Thank you so much :)

+1
Myself and my boyfriend are just back from staying at Primavera hotel & apartments, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All the staff are excellent and can’t do enough to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay, they made us feel so welcome and nothing is ever an issue. Nikos and Victoria were so lovely and of course the main man Yannis - he is so helpful and friendly with all the guests at Primavera and we enjoyed getting to know him, as well as the other bar/floor girls who always make sure you have a drink in hand and are having a good time. Our apartment was clean and tidy, with additional air con which was a god send! We found the location perfect as a young couple, you are a 20 second walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the restaurants/bars and main strip. The hotel is mainly young people ideal for girls & guys group holidays, as well as young couples like ourselves. We had breakfast included which is served til late (ideal if you are out partying) and all food was so tasty and fresh. There is fresh food/snacks/drinks available all day at the pool side and main bar area, with reasonable prices also.
We loved Malia and would definitely stay in Primavera hotel & apartments if we were to visit again! 🥰

My friend and I stayed at the apartments for a week this summer and given the circumstances at the moment our holiday was still amazing. The staff are the nicest people we have ever met, Nikos, Maria , Yannis, Krissi and Amelia couldn’t have been more accommodating and welcoming. On our arrival we were greeted with a drink and lots of information which really helped us as we have never been to Malia before. The facilities are also great, the pool bar has a fab menu of food and drink and is open throughout all the day. They also provide entertainment at the main bar which was always great fun. The location is also perfect , a 2 minute walk to the beach and roughly 5 to the strip therefore makes it very central. Couldn’t recommend enough especially for groups of young people who are looking for more of a party atmosphere as the night life in and out the hotel is fab.

Went here late June of 2023 on a lads holiday and I have to say it was brilliant.
Location: The hotel is a 2 min walk from the beach and a 5 min walk from the strip which is very ideal after a good night out.
Staff: I couldn’t fault them in any way - always accommodating the needs of every single one of us. Yiannis, Alex, Victoria, Nikos and everyone else who work were all brilliant and got involved with lots of things.
Food/Drink/Nighlife: we started every night there with very well priced ‘3-2-1’ deals which consisted of 3 shots, 2 mixers and a pint of sex on the beach for €10. As for the pool bar, you’re talking Gyros for €4 and cocktails ranging between €5 and €7 with generous measures. Karaoke was on every night and it was such a good laugh.
Rooms and Cleanliness: there were a few snags such as the shower not holding it’s weight very well and the bannister being loose but a part from that they were very clean, well maintained and had everything you really needed for a lads holiday.
Would strongly recommend for a lads/girls holiday, not so much for a family one however. But

Everything about this hotel was perfect for us!! From the minute we arrived Nikos was waiting to show us around, answer any questions and make us feel welcome. All of the staff at Primavera were so welcoming and helpful, there was always somebody there to help if we ever needed anything. The hotel bar had the best atmosphere everyday and the staff were amazing at getting you excited and ready for each night on the strip. We are a young group of friends and we were made to feel really safe and well looked after throughout our holiday! Can’t wait to be back next year!!
