This Hotel is nice. The grounds and the farm animals are great for kids. However, if you as the parent are looking for good and friendly service, go somewhere else. At dinner we opted for the 4 course meal which left us at the table for over 2 hours the first night. We had 4 kids with us and that’s simply too long to serve soup, salad, main and a dessert. The food was mediocre the first evening. The second evening the staff grilled and the food was fantastic, but the service was still lacking. Getting a drink could easily take up to 20min. Nobody ever checks on you to see if you’re still doing ok and if you ask for service they act like it’s an inconvenience. One of the girls (younger) went as far as telling me she’d be right out or let her colleague know after I went inside for service; 20 min later I see her leaving the premises and none of her coworkers were informed of my request for water for my 2 year old in scolding hot weather. The area is very nice and there are many trails to walk or bike. They offer free bikes and e bikes for 20 euro. Children have free go karts available on the grounds, and a pony is available for children around 4pm for 30 min (total). This service is also free. The biggest disaster was the breakfast set up, you had to stand in line for Up to 30 minutes to get served due to corona. They served you but during peak times they only had one service person helping people. What’s the point of standing in line for 30 min with people not socially distancing (because the space didn’t permit it). Kind of defeats and precaution for covid. All in all very unorganized and not worth the money! Find a better hotel to visit. The only reason I gave three and not two stars is the grounds and the fact that the kids had a blast...…
