We were looking for a place to stay in Wolfach while visiting brother in law at the Parkinson's Clinic in Wolfach. This hotel is right next door - very convenient. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our room - almost a suite. The bathroom was up to date, bright and shinny. Our bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great...

We have just returned from a weeks holiday In the town of Wolfach in the German Black Forest. We stayed at the Schwarzwaldhotel Garni - what a delight it was. The hotel is a lovely old house with beautiful grounds, lawns, shaded areas that guests are free to use. Rooms are spacious, very clean and are fully equipped with all...

This hotel is perfect. Just a few rooms and a great location. Heidi and her husband also provide an excellent breakfast. Wolfach is a great Black Forest base. It is in the Kinzigtal valley halfway between Schiltach and Gengenbach. A very good railway links all 3 towns- which is free if you are staying in the town. Wolfach is a...

As two couples we stopped in this town and hit the TI. We told him we liked smaller guesthouses over big hotels on the Main Street and we needed a good WIFI connection.. He checked availability and we chose to go see this one. It's a lovely old two story house in a neighborhood and she showed us to two...

We wanted to travel near Gutach, and we find this hotel (or guest house) in Internet. Well, the decoration just luxury, the family living there kind, and the breakfast was fantastic. Everything authentic and we really enjoyed out stay at this hotel. Maybe the location was not quite good to see the city, a fantastic medieval-style city, but in 10-15...

We had read all about how wonderful the hospitality is and how helpful and must admit it has lived up to expectation. The breakfast is wonderful, with fresh eggs prepared according to order. We came unprepared and have left with a taste of "come back again soon". There is so much to see and one needs time. I loved our...

Booked this lovely hotel from booking.com, the pictures of the hotel on the website just make it looks like a normal hotel, but that's not the truth. The hotel itself is much better than the what it looks like in the pictures. Our room is spacious with a comfortable couch. Everything is clean and comfortable. The satellite TV offers a...
