Stayed for a lads weekend away skiing and the hotel was great. The location is brilliant for the slopes just about 200m walk to the cable car to the slopes. There is a ski hire and sports shop on the ground floor and a good size boot room with lockers to keep your kit safe.
It is a bit of a walk into the town but not bad, but the town is fairly quiet so don’t expect a wild apres ski culture, it is not that sort of resort.
The hotel has a jacuzzi, fitness room, small pool and sauna which is lovely after a days skiing. There is a lounge area with tv and sofas etc which is great for relaxing in and a small bar. Note that there is no food served other than breakfast so you need to go out for lunch and dinner.
Breakfast is good. Cereal, pastries and continental selection and also boiled eggs that you sort out for yourself. Not the biggest selection but really nice and good quality.
Rooms are good quality and simply furnished but spotlessly clean and the bathrooms are good with seemingly limitless hot water.
The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful and they were always willing to help whenever asked.
Well recommended hotel for a ski break.

The hotel is very cosy and nice. We stayed there during Biathlon Cup. The view from the balcony was very good, the apartment is nice and quite. The breackfast was perfect with excellent variety of food. What i liked most of all and the first thing i am recalling when thinking about this hotel is BATH TOWELS! they were unbelievably soft and perfect! Dear Hotel, could you please give me a guidance what label they are to purchase for my home?

Amazing small mountain hotels. Great services, spa, breakfast and cleanliness. We stayed for 2 days, family of 4 members to enjoy the ski resot for a weekend.
Drove from Geneva.
Breakfast had several great options.
Dinner at hotel was also a great experience of French cuisine.

Lovely room and place. Very expensive breakfast. Ridiculous that the bar shuts at 7pm. Comfortable bed. Book direct to get a better price. Some nice restaurants in walking distance but otherwise a quiet place. Didn’t use pool as it was cold and rainy.

Some basic info. Rooms are average for a ski hotel, not small. We had plenty of space for all our stuff and bags . Tastefully decorated and clean . Bed linen of a good quality and beds themselves were very comfortable . We had a lower floor room overlooking the road but it was still quiet . I saw someone critical of towels earlier. These are absolutely fine, reasonable quality and size . And we asked for and we're given without any issue, more towels. Everything works well. Shower in our bathroom was powerful and hot so no complaints there either . Breakfast is continental , so don't expect acres of food, its more than enough to get yourself enough calories to struggle to the ski lockers which are just 20 m away and not at all inconvenient . The jacuzzi was a welcome soak after a hard day's skiing . Yes , you have to book after 1800 but it's hardly a chore and in fact from 1600-1800 it's open to all ( limit four people and no kids ) . The pool is a good size for a relaxing dip, if you're an Olympic lanes type.....then you may be disappointed but all us apres ski dippers will be delighted with having a quick paddle . Pool towels are provided . There is a bar but in low season it's shut after 2100. Prices are very reasonable for France. The ski shop next door gives hotel guests a discount and was very reasonable and the equipment was great . The Rosay lift is a few minutes walk , approx 150 m away and so again very convenient . Where the hotel excels is in the very personal family type of approach that Estelle , Roman and other team , give to running the place. They are very friendly and very helpful. With my basic french and their English we were more than able to communicate any needs etc . None of the hotels in the area are stand out luxury but this is Grand Bo, we go for the skiing and all that surrounds the convenience of that . We have stayed elsewhere in resort and I'd happily stay here again next season . It's a comfortable friendly hotel and it's very convenient for lifts . All boxes , thus, ticked.

the room was 'adequate' I guess but wasnt easy to move around when we were all in it. Only just enough space between end of bed and wall for 1 person to walk past and was worse at the 'wardrobe' end (built into the eaves) as the kids beds were almost up against it and so very awkward to get access to clothes. As room was at the top of the hotel it was very warm but no window to leave open - only door to balcony but that was too much draft for when in bed. (we were there for ski holiday at easter). Breakfast was good; nice bread. Gym area was never used the whole time we were there. The hot tub has to be prebooked. Pool was COLD but ok when you were in though ambient air temperature meant no hanging about when you came out!

We had a lovely stay at the Vermont which is perfectly located for the ski lifts in Le Grand Bornard and is also only a short walk into the village centre.

The hotel is designed and finished to a very high standard. The staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms are quiet, beds are comfortable and bathrooms well appointed with good showers. We also enjoyed the spa and pool facilities.

The bar is nice for an evening drink and breakfast was tasty and fresh.

All in all, really excellent and it exceeded our expectations.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and good location. Oh and great breakfast! We didn't use the pool as it looked much smaller than we imagined. Beds were comfortable but need new (and more pillows - one floppy one not enough), but for one night didn't bother us. We enjoyed our time here.

Lovely hotel. We had a beautiful family room with a great view. Shower was a bit small. Breakfast was lovely. Liked the fact that you could boil your own eggs!! We went out for dinner, and came back just after 9pm to discover the bar closed at 9pm, pity as we just wanted a night cap to sit by the fire.
