I could choose anywhere in the world to choose a favourite skiing resort, but I choose Flaine. It has very nice apartments and two chalets there. There is a pool, a restaurant and I am certain there has NEVER been a problem with the people there and NEVER a complaint. The service is amazing. Had really good slopes too!

Amazing Place, I totally recommend you go there. You have apartments and two chalets. Brilliant views all around you. There is a well sized pool and its not very cold at all. The bus ride is very quick to the resort and also, its the first stop so you can get a seat. The beds are very comfortable and the...

Stayed for two nights before moving into Flaine proper. Self catered one bed for family of four - worked for us Great views. Underground parking ( paid for ) Onsite bar/restaurant is good. Staff were friendly and helpful Spa/Pool a bonus - although pool is tiny and cold. Intermittent wifi. Over all we liked this place but there were some...

Located in Hameau some 200m higher than the main resort, Refuge du Golf has commanding views over the valley. Ten of us stayed in a 5 bed apartment which was clean and comfortable, although a little short of sofas and kitchen equipment. Limited shopping on site, although the ski hire shop was excellent. You can ski down to the resort,...

Lovely accomodation with great views across to the snow front. Unfortunately quite far from the center and the ski lifts with no option for ski back to the accomodation. Ski bus stops right outside but the last bus up is at 7 so can't really go out without walking2-3 kms uphill back to the accomodation. Recommend the half board option...

Exceptionally well equipped apartment. We had a 3 bed apartment shared by 6 of us and it felt quite spacious. Our friends were in the next apartment and even with 11 of us getting together for dinner it was fine. Shah was incredibly welcoming and helpful always with a happy smile on her face. Apartments located out of town which...

We stayed here as a group of 4, 2 couples for a week of skiing 14th to 21st March 2015, travelling with Crystal Ski on packaged holiday. When we arrived at the Refuge du Golf, we were just dumped at the roadside and told to walk up the hill with our luggage by the Crystal Rep, obviously not the fault...

Hello we stayed in the Refuge du Golf in March 2015. Two families shared one of the chalets. We had beautiful views across Flaine from three levels with a large balcony on two of the floors. We had 4 bedrooms - each with en suite facilities and a spacious lounge/diner/ kitchen. The kitchen was very well equipped with a huge...

Just returned from a week at Flaine, staying at Le refuge Du Golf. There are some good points and bad points about these apartments I will start with the good points - lovely view across the village of Flaine, very spacious living area and well equipped kitchen, nice large balcony with plenty of patio furniture. A ski shop located by...

“If you do decide to stay here, you really will be trying your luck. The service is appalling - but if you still intend to anyway, if you go skiing/snowboarding it is worth asking for a room/chalet close to reception and the road as it will make it a bit easier to leave in the mornings.”
