There are VCS clubs all over France in the Alps in Winter and the Beaches in summer. They are run by young enthusiastic staff in the way British chalet hotels are managed so your room is not bussed daily and and meals are harty with free wine rather than haute cuisine. Its very very French and has excellent child care...

Stayed here for a weeks skiing with sunweb on an all-inclusive deal. Flights transfers accommodation, lift pass and ski hire included. Rooms simple and clean, but with everything you need for a skiing holiday. 500m to slopes. Very well organised hotel, with time slots for ski collection and press bookable sauna area. Food very good with a wide variety each...

Very dissapointed. Booked a like comparison through Inghams to the accommodation we had last year in Kutai, Austria No comparison, this is so basic, cheap, small, cattle market. Waited for hours for our pokey room that is cold and lacks any comfort Hoping the food is ok, not holding out much hope Last year we had same deal, home cooked...

Firstly it's a good place to learn to ski and if you do want to come on a budget, book everything independently yourself and save more money. However the hotel is very poor and not worth the money we paid via Inghams. The restaurant is like a cattle market and I've had much better food in a UK transport cafe,...

Visited in January for a ski trip, this was an all inclusive deal through Inghams, really cheap and good value for money. We paid around £750-£800 pp for flights, transfers, accommodation, food (inclusive of breakfast, lunch and evening meal), ski pass and hire. The hotel is well located right next to a lift taking you to the upper level of...

all inclusive through Inghams was £1000 each flights/transfers/breakfast /lunch/evening meal/ski pass/ ski hire. Probably the cheapest you will find in Flaine. Our room was 815 which was fine (they clean your room once ,midweek)The food was totally acceptable, lots of choice, the skiing was great. There is a lift right by the hotel which takes you up to the 1st...

Set in an ideal location this is a very tired and disappointing hotel. The staff were helpful but had a lot to cope with. Having left the UK early in the morning we could not have access to our room until 17.45 Why?? Even then when we were given the key our room was not made up! The worst part...

The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the slopes and lifts. The food is very french but theirs always plenty to choose from. Wine is included with lunch and evening meals. The staff are friendly and helpful but most of them only speak a small amount of English. We were the only English people staying in the hotel....

We stayed with a group of about 20 last year Feb 2015. I've left this review until now because we are going again and didn't want to reveal our secret in case it got booked up. This place is a bargain and very convenient. Check in is at 17:00, why does everyone moan about this? Its advertised widely so what's...
