If you want a real French 'pension' experience this clean and characterful little hotel is excellent value for money. The hotel also has its own restaurant serving good fixed price menus featuring local specialities. The proprietor is always welcoming and helpful

I do not think that this hotel is the perfect choice, as it is clean but not elegant, price is not cheap when breakfast is included while they serve quite good food for dinner. Better for the young and one-night stay. Wifi was very efficient, by the way.

I have now stayed at this lovely little hotel a few times whilst visiting family in the area. The owner is always very helpful and the rooms very clean and comfortable. As I am often a single traveller I have always felt looked after and safe. If you want a real 'French'experience in the heart of an authentic little French...

Feeling relaxed after spending two nights here and hope to return again later in 2015. This is a historic building which has been brought into the 21st century with excellent facilities. The decor is tastefully modern while retaining its period character. You can be sure of a warm welcome from the owner and the staff who go to every length...

My husband and I stayed here for one night in March. We arrived on Sunday Afternoon. We were taken to our room which was very large and confortable. The inn keeper brought us a snack and wine. After a long trip on the train this was wonderful. Since it was Sunday, the entire town was closed. This was unfortunate for...

An elderly couple living in Spain, we are used to stay in Paradors or at least three-star hôtels and felt a bit apprehensive about a two-star hotel in France. We shouldn't have worried, we had a super time. The room was spacious and extremely clean;the food was excellent and the wine list well balanced. The owners were very friendly and concerned when...

We had a fine time with our stay in this small very-French hotel. To appreciate it, you need to understand the French hotel rating system: the very reasonable price reflects the fact that this is a two-star-rated hotel, and that the rooms, while clean and comfortable, may not have a view or even a window to the outside world (ours...

Hotel was recommended by my father, who lives a short distance from Cortie Hotel. It exceeded expectations. The room was clean, large and relaxing. The owners were lovely. The food was lovely. Francois, was more than happy to cater for any dietary requirements. The food was fresh, and very well presented. I was prepared for this, as my father eats...

We stayed in a villa in Castelnou this July and looked to have a nice meal on the final night. So, three laptops came up with three different options of where to go and thankfully we plumped for this one. Although a little way off the main street, it really wasn't that hard to fine. Stand outside the entrance to...

We cycled into Thuir not knowing what we would find for a hotel and followed the signs to the Cortie. Couldn't have been a more pleasant experience. Nice clean room with lots of atmosphere and plenty of room for all our gear and we were able to put our bikes in a spare room on the ground floor. The location...
