Stayed at Robinson's Place 18 and 19 December 2016 and paid US$70 a night for two adults and a child in a private bungalow with a double and single bed. Breakfast is included in the price. Bathrooms are shared and separate from each bungalow. There is no electricity or wifi but the owners can charge phones and other electronics in...

Want to escape the hustle and bustle of modern life without internet-connection, but a tranquility equal to none. This is the place to spend your Sunday afternoon. Stress gone, batteries recharges, ready to take on the world (Zanzibar)

Totally chilled out and away from some of the tourist hustle on the rest of the island. The rooms are simple but gorgeous, the food is great, the location is stunning and the hosts are lovely. Easily my favourite place in the island and have recommended the place to many friends since first coming here in 2004.

My adult son and I spent six idyllic days at lovely Robinson's Place on the beach in Bwejuu. Ann and Eddie have created a perfect retreat where you can do exactly what you want with no hassles whatsoever but with plenty of help available if you need it. We had (delicious) dinners there except when we needed wifi -- usually...

I always thought I didn't like beaches : boring, hot, smelly, too luminous to read a book, sand in your sandwiches... Well this place made me change my mind (partially - don't try to drag to a traditional beach). Here, you discover what "taking the time means". You are neither waiting things nor rushing after something - you are out...

We stayed a week - two adults and three teenagers. A perfect place to relax and enjoy nice food, the sea and sun. Ann and Edi know how to make you feel like a guest. They care about their guests, their environment and their local community. Beautifully laid out and decorated. Good snorkelling a short bike ride away. Highly recommended.

I visited Zanzibar with my 5 boys aged between 7 and 16y in October. We stayed in the main house at Robinsons Place. It was absolutely perfect for us. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfast was amazing, the boys loved the fruit and fresh bread. The setting is beautiful. My older boys weren't sure about the...
