We had an amazing stay at Zanzibar house.
Upon reading the reviews, we went with the half board option which includes breakfast and dinner. We couldn't have made a better choice. The four course dinner every night was on point.
The service was incredible. And...More
I stayed here for 2 nights and wish it was longer! The hotel is small, only 7 rooms, which gives it an intimate feel. It is right on the beach with amazing views and a pool. Breakfast and dinner was included, and were wonderful, with...More

Our family spent 5 days at this amazing place and absolutely loved it! What made the difference between a nice and an excellent experience is the most friendly, accommodating and hospitable staff, especially the host Georgia. There was not one request that was too much...More

Hi, as far as I know beaches are never private in Tanzania. The same applies to the beach along Zanzibar House. However, it has beautiful soft sand and is very wide with low tide so there's plenty of space to walk, play or go for a swim. From the Hotel you just walk through the back garden (with pool) straight onto the beach. March is in general part of the rainy season so maybe check out the weather for Zanzibar when you book.
