I can't say enough about this place. Only 2 rooms so you're not crowded. Guests have their own sitting area with a fireplace and a rustic look. Comfy beds. Fruit (plums and apples) picked straight off their trees. Great, modern bathroom. A little hard to find at night as their sign is difficult to see off the road. Best to...

Thank you very much for taking the time to comment on your experience with us and we are glad you had a great time. Yes it is best to arrive earlier so you can enjoy the fantastic setting, grounds and sunsets we are having at the moment! Perhaps we need to light up the sign! All the best and safe...

An absolutely amazing experience! Lodge was perfect, so were the hosts. Lots of space and privacy and you can see by the details that every effort is taken to make the stay very comfortable! A must go if you're in the area!

We entered into the house and regretted that we were able to stay only one night. This was the best B&B of our travel through NZ. A tasteful and cosy atmosphere in the room and guest lobby plus the warmth of the host made us feel at home. Surrounded by a huge garden with fruit trees and flowers our recreation...

We stayed here for two nights while we did some biking and kayaking and general mooching around the Hawea and Wanaka area. The accommodation and breakfast was great. John the host was superb. Informative, friendly and engaging but never intrusive. Very relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a nice stay here. John the owner was friendly and helpful and provided us a clean room and a great continental breakfast. We had to leave early in the morning for a possible flight seeing trip and John was very agreeable to an earlier breakfast time. We had use of a comfortable visitor lounge area apart from the...

Recently my husband, two year old and I spent a relaxing few days here following our wedding. We had a large, clean bedroom and ensuite and enjoyed making use of the spa pool near our room. There was plenty of space for our two-year-old to run round outside and we thank the hosts for being extremely accommodating of her.

Real Kiwi's Jen and Stacey gave us a very welcome feeling during our 4 nights stay. Our little 2 year old girl enjoyed herself in the gardens and with the abundance of toys. We still dream of the excellent lamb roast dinner our hosts surprised us with...! Tim, Lotte & Elin

Accommodation itself is a 15 minute drive from Wanaka, spatious and quiet. New host Jen is not passionate about running a lodge or accomodating to guests. Do not recommend staying here while new host is running things. Breakfast is not served, instead you have scour the kitchen to find something, while new host was noisily busy with her kids. When...

A wonderful weekend spent at Polly & Russells' B& B. We had a family wedding nearby on Saturday and on Sunday we had a BBQ for 80+ people at Mt Maude Lodge where we were staying. Polly and Russell worked in the kitchen for us all day as well as having the house spotless. The weather necessitated everyone being inside...
