We stayed in the downstairs basement room (suite) for one night. There is a kitchen, bar stool table, and a comfortable couch, large bathroom, and large bedroom with 2 big beds. Everything was clean, and the bedroom AC great, but sometimes picked up smoke form the upstairs. Richard the host was amazing. He picked us up from the airport, took us to the MegaMart, toured us through Montego Bay, grabbed a Pattie. Then to down town Falmouth for some breadfruit, ackee, and saltfish. Everyone knew Richard, and called him the best tour guide. Afterwards we had a siesta, and a walk up the street past the goats, dogs and children playing to the Sports Bar. We enjoyed a couple of Red Stripes listening to the pounding music. In the evening Richard picked us up, and took us to the Luminous Lagoon, and to downtown Falmouth for Jerk and beers. Of course, the pick up and tour is extra, and a great experience and well worth it. As noted by others, it is not in Falmouth, but in Hague, coordinates 18.4698831,-77.6402880.

We spend one night at the Pura Vida Guesthouse, it was really nice. The host Richard is really cool and the room was clean and comfortable. It's out of the big city, so quiet. I will highly recommend this place!!!

We stayed for two nights with Richard and Nikki-they are the perfect host couple and got us to Martha Brae, Luminous Lagoon and an authentic night out in Falmouth with typical food with locals. This home is very nice and clean and has what you need. We enjoyed the breakfast they cheerfully brought to us both mornings! We will return if we are lucky enough to get to Jamaica again!

My wife and I visited this place earlier this week. Its a very nice place to stay and the owner Richard is a true gent. He showed us around and took us on a trip to the Glistening Waters.... a glowing lagoon just outside Falmouth. He could not do enough to make our visit to Falmouth a good one and went above what you would expect from a property owner. The accommodation was excellent and clean. One thing I must point out is that this place is outside Falmouth in the community of Hague, about a mile and a half from Falmouth, do not let this put you off as you can get in a route taxi to go into Falmouth at little cost (About 70 pence into Falmouth and 85 pence out to Hague) there are two local bars in Hague and more on the back road to Martha Brae River. Some of the maps show that the property is in Falmouth so do take heed of this. Regardless of this I strongly recommend this place as a base to stay in Falmouth. I will return, as you will too!!.
