Just returned from three memorable days in this delightful country house (two couples). Wonderful approach to the property down a long tree lined drive, with a backdrop of the village church. The house itself is beautiful, both in terms of architecture and decor. The bedrooms are large, comfortable and exquisitely furnished. The bedlinen and beds are of the highest quality,...

Whilst visiting family we visited this delightful residence with such thoughtful touches such as fluffy robes and slippers. Lisa and Stephen were exceptional hosts. Breakfast was delicious and we felt thoroughly spoilt. We would have loved to have stayed longer but unfortunately had to go home.

We visited Copinger Hall as a family of four and had a wonderful weekend. The house and grounds were stunning and our children reveled in being able to explore the garden and play with all the toys Lisa has kindly provided. Lisa and Stephen couldn't have been more welcoming, going out of their way to ensure we enjoyed ourselves and...

Just back from one night away at Copinger Hall. An earlier reviewer suggested it might be the best B&B in the country. Simple. It is! The house itself is just amazing. Full of history and warmth with more than a touch of baronial mansion. Lisa and Stephen treated us like old family friends and our dog was also more than...

The nicest people doing everything they can think of to make their guests comfortable. Lisa even drove us to a restaurant for the evening meal so that our driver could drink alcohol and offered to drive us back home again, which we didn't need as our friends whom we met there drove us back and were invited in for a...

We stayed at Copinger Hall after a very long bike ride and it was amazing in every possible way! The house was both beautiful and homely set in stunning grounds. The bedroom had everything you could think of and was really luxurious. The hosts were the nicest people we have probably ever come across in our many years of travelling...

I agree with everything all the other reviews say. This is an exceptional experience. Everything is done with such care and consideration. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Stephen and Lisa are quite simply exceptional people. 5 * is not enough in this case. The House is absolutely beautiful and everything about it is stunning. (I recommend a visit to...

We emailed to stay here at the very last minute and Lisa, the owner, bent over backwards to accommodate us despite being away herself until late. She arranged for us to have dinner at a local pub, where we ate a nice meal, and then arrived at her fantastic house later in the evening. Lisa and Stephens hospitality is quite...

We were recommended to Copinger Hall by a friend who had previously stayed here for a weekend. Unfornatuley we weren't actually looking for a place to stay we were looking for a Location photoshoot... Copinger Hall fitted the bill perfectly! After letting the owner, Lisa know very last minute (not even 24hrs notice!) she was extremely accommodating and let us...

“There are only three rooms - though Lisa found us a fourth. Some have bathrooms en suite, some don't. But all are lovely.”

“There are two rooms with bathrooms and one with a shower. Specify which you prefer when you book. The large double with a bath is up another flight of stairs but is very large and very private.”
