I used the hotel function room for a charity event which was the perfect size for a band plus 130 people. The hotel was helpful before and during the event and every member of staff was a pleasure to deal with. We stayed over night and the room was clean and comfortable it's a old hotel with oak beams uneven...

Had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at The Cedars Hotel. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Very well appointed rooms. Very good breakfasts and catering. Cosy bar and friendly bar staff. Would recommend The Cedars to anyone for a short break.

Just had Mothers day lunch and I have to say it was delicious. The staff work very hard and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Incredible value at £15 a head. Have eaten there quite a few times over the years and always had great food. Also had my wedding there in 2013 and that was fab too.

Set on a busy road junction with a paint factory and warehouse obstructing any potential views. Out of date decor, expensive and snobby . I didn't stay the night and hadn't planned too so can't comment on the rooms.

Conveniently located between a bye-pass and a chemical plant this hotel looks to have been refurbished around 1985, the room we had enjoyed a variety of furniture and handy little kitchenette without any crockery or cutlery, this wasn’t an issue as planned to enjoy the bar and restaurant during our ‘dog friendly’ visit. It was therefore regrettable that we were...

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback and I am sorry that you were disappointed with your stay at the hotel. As the vast majority of tables in our bar area are used by diners on a daily basis we do not consider it suitable for dogs and will always make this clear when asked about...

My wife and I spent one night at the Cedars Hotel with our Dalmation during a visit to see friends who have recently moved to that part of the UK. The hotel cost us £91 for the night including breakfast and a small charge for pets. Although the place itself was not easy to find via the sat nav. as...

We stayed two nights as we were in Stowmarket for a family party. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed on the top floor in a clean cute room. The breakfasts were lovely. We didn't spend much time in the bar but it was very nice

23-24th December. Very friendly staff, could do enough. Even asked if I would like to change rooms as a function was on to make it quitter for me. Good value will book in aging next time I am in the area.

Just the one night stay for a family of four with two young children. We had a big bedroom with ante room for kids with bunk beds and a decent sized bathroom too. Sloping floor and ceiling added to the character of the old building! Excellent selection of food and drink at dinner time and food of very good standard...
