Pierced furniture, outside walls falling apart, guest garage with half empty bottles of wine on the floor, but my favorite attraction of this hotel is incredibly smelly bathroom. You can save money on the evening drink, all you need to do is enjoy the gases coming from the sink. Ah,and I forgot to mention, they don't do breakfast. Of course 🤷‍♂️

Stayed here for two nights while on a business trip to this beautiful town. Check in was swift and easy even without being able to speak any Slovakian. I was put into room 108, which was marked on the door as VIP. Entering the room was a little disappointing. It was bland and a little dated with no normal room facilities let alone VIP facilities. It had a fridge, a wine fridge both unplugged and empty and a TV and not a lot else. The bathroom was nice but only had a shower but had the room for a bath. The shower had been crudely repaired in the floor but had good heat and water pressure. Bring your own bath towel unless your staying on your own so you can use two of the room towels to cover and dry yourself. The hotel is a good walk out of town about 10-15mins depending on fitness to get back to the old castle and is all up hill. I never used the restaurant so can’t comment on this.

We stayed in the hotel 3 nights. The second day we came back from the city at 12 pm and we were unable to get inside! There was nobody at the reception. I called all the numbers written on front door and nobody answered. Also nobody mentioned that we can get inside after midnight. The only thing that helped us was someone from the hotel who called ambulance so doctors and police were waiting with us in front of the hotel. After 20 minutes drunk rude old guy came to open the door. He had inappropriate questions to ambulance like "did the gipsies call the ambulance?" Etc. Otherwise I don't know how it would end up. Maybe we would sleep in front of the hotel... don't recommend this hotel at all!

It is one of those places that were supposed to disappear with communist era. Terrible services, uncomfortable beds and drunk owner are just a few to mention. My friends were offered a room that was not cleaned after checkout of previous guests.

At the arrival we received the room that has been reconstructed several days ago, so there was still smell of glue or other chemicals, so we requested a new room. Allthough the hotel was nearly fully booked, they were really friendly and changed our room without any problem with the appology, that they want that their clinets will be fully satisfied. Then we had a really nice and confy foom. The location from the central square is 10 minutes walk, near the hotel is enough parking lots. Choice for breakfast was good and tasty. Good accomodation at fair price. Free and fast wifit connection in the whole hotel , not only at the reception.
