Pension location is great, right down in the center. Room was spacious, however bad odor from the bathroom hit you right as you enter the room. i found really annoying that staff did load the dishwasher on 1st floor at 6.15 AM in the morning, making themselves coffee or whatever at the same time too. Honestly, can't that wait till like 9 AM particularly in the weekend????
We spent two night in this hotel and we were very pleased. Here are the highlights: - perfect location... right in the center of the city - large, old fashion room - large and comfy bed - good breakfast (the first day was outstanding, the second day not so much) - very friendly reception It would be even better if: - it would have better wifi (actually there is no wifi in rooms) - there are some bars closeby so Friday night was quite noisy. - if you want your room to be cleaned/serviced you have to request it - hotel has sauna and jacuzzi but I found 12 euro per guest quite expensive. Guests should have much better price.
We stayed at this hotel for one night. It is a nice historical building at the crossroads, it´s in a nice historical building. The hotel is situated in the center, with a two minutes walk from the Main Square. All of those amazing caffés and restaurants are not further than 3 minutes. We stayed in Mikoviny´s room, it was cozy and nice. The only bad thing was minimum of light, as we had a wall right in front of our windows (in the photo). Breakfast, served from 8AM to 10AM, was amazing. Everyone would choose, it was really tasty and we enjoyed it a lot. On the other hand, we weren´t satisfied with the parking. Parking, that was offered by the hotel, was pretty far away. There is not that much to think about when it comes to parking in Banska Stiavnica, so we went down the town to park. It was locked and the password we were told about didn´t work. Also, we would be charged for parking there. We left our car right next to Botanical Garden, it was for free and about 4 minutes from the hotel.…
Exceptionally helpful reception who gave us positive advice on the local restaurants; the hotel room was very comfortable despite the hike to the second floor.breakfast a little basic but sufficient. Having to use the WiFi in the dining room was a minor drawback.
We stayed in this hotel just one night. The price is avarage as well as rooms i would say. The bed was ok, but there is not many rooms for your luggage if u will have many - there is not elevator in hotel. The bathroom was small but it was clean. The wifi not working - the lobby person said that we are in hills but they have pc room that u can use. We wanted massage but 3 massage ladies wasnt available so we used small spa in hotel first we though that it was as gift from hotel but after we payed for it but at leat it wasnt very expensive an it was fine. The breakfast was nice and fulfilling. The city is so beautiful and historic.
