The pension is situated on the very centre hill of Banska Stiavnica, from where there is the most beautiful view of historical and a new part of the town. It is not very far away from the town centre, approximately 15 minutes by walk. As for its location, it's peaceful place near the sports stadium.

The hotel has a great view at the historical town as well as the Kalvaria. Nice view from the restaurant balcony. The standard room comes with a patio. The room is very clean, with a small bathroom. There was also a little fridge in the room. The walls of the rooms are very thin so you hear your neighbours at both sides. The room was also too warm and it wasn’t even warm weather. The breakfast had a variety of warm and cold choices, hearty and sweet. The restaurant offers very tasty dishes at reasonable prices. We had salmon, chicken breast “cordon bleu” and Wiener schnitzel. All three recommended!

Great and clean room, friendly staff always willing to help, tasty food, priceless view. We were also glad to have rather big kids playground next to the hotel. The city center and calvary are within walking distance.

My boyfriend and me were visited our friends on weekly holiday in Banska Stiavnica. They advised us this hotel and we were satisfied. There was everything clean, nice and also staff was very friendly and communicative at the hotel. There was a quilt with hole at the room we booked. I’ve seen it for the first time. I love it! I have to buy this “amazing quilt” too at home. It is simply great because U don’t sweat during the night.. very cool :)

Nice view in the back and front on historic city, its on hill top. Restaurant with better food and drinks, upper price level, but not so good as a view. Friendly personal, cozy and romantic. Children friendly. There is always somethink to do better 😌🍾

I booked this place online, have not been there before. After long trip I just wanted to spend a night there. The room that was given to me was terrible. The hotel was fully booked, so I could not ask for another one. A small, noisy, dark, humid room with shower next to the bed and very bad ventilation, placed under the restaurant and kitchen. I was very disappointed, but the view was great. Anyway, I cannot recommend it.

The pension is outside of town on a hill overlooking the valley, town and the beautiful chapel. Easy to find and to reach.
The staff are super friendly and willing to assist. First we were introduced to an older room (#7) which was nice but small and with a really non comfortable bed.
Room #3 was much better and very clean with a terrace overlooking the town and valley on a spectacular view. The bed was super comfortable with a lot of pillows and the room was furnished with sitting area, sofa, coffee and tea and a small fridge.
Few downsides though: 1. At the time of this review - early October, the terrace is under renewal (we were informed about this by the staff) - we were woken up at 7:00 by the noise of the workers. 2. The towels in the room are super small. 3. The bathroom and shower are uplifted, the steps are dangerous in the middle of the night and the entrance to the shower room is really low so be careful!! (I got my head bumped twice) 4. Wifi was really slow 5. Shower cap was broken but it doesn't really matter.
Besides this - it's a really good and romantic place, prices are low and you get a nice country-side evening. Recommended.

The room was clean and surprisingly well furnished (incl. a small fridge and an electric kettle with a basic selection of teas), the wi-fi connection worked fine. The views of the old town from the rooms, the terrace and the restaurant are quite magnificent and easily the biggest draw the place has to offer; the other plus for me was the food (although I can't comment on the breakfast which I skipped). Very hard to beat in terms of value for money in Banská Štiavnica.

We have booked a room at this place in November 2016. In the morning, just before we were supposed to check-in, the owner called us that our room is still occupied by previous guests and she has no other free room. That is just terrible! If you make a booking here, I would give a call to the owner few days before to make sure that the room is still available.
We gave it a second chance month later and we got a room. The room was very clean and stylish. The only downside was really tiny TV. Otherwise the view from the room is just amazing and it felt really cozy. If you get your room...then I definetly recommend this :)

Great food, great strudla, beautiful view, unfortunately if you are vegetarian you can have just syr& hranolky. Risotto is made on a MEAT gravy :'( If you're vegan, life will be hard :-P maybe just a little salad & french fries...

Pension has great position and wonderful views of the old town. Situated in quiet environment. New and tastefully furnished rooms. Kind and helpful staff. Many possibilities for moutain biking and sightseeing in old Town.
