We stayed here for 5 nights as our main photography location in the Lofoten Islands. On arrival at 2pm we were able to check in which was nice. Our cabin, Inge no. 2, was well located and nicely proportioned for a couple but would be a squeeze for 4 people. There is a one wall kitchen with kettle, coffee maker,...

An absolutely enchanting little traditional hotel by the sea that encapsulates the incredible town of Reine and its rich fishing history. The rooms are hugely generous and self contained with a supermarket nearby and the in house restaurant is excellent. Super comfy and cosy beds and love the heated bathroom floors - In winter when its snowing this is like...

What can I say.... This is such a beautiful and tranquil place to stay. We stopped for 8 nights in our fisher man's house which catered for a couple. It was very clean, warm, cosy and wonderfully presented in its appearance. Loads of room with views from the windows to die for and also a mini kitchette. All cooking utensils...

I made two separate bookings on Booking.com with the second night a lower price than the first (non-refundable price on Booking.com) I requested to cancel but they said they already charged my second night, so I decided not to cancel the booking and stay 2 nights there. When I checked in, I told them I made two separate booking for...

Reine Rorbuer is the place to stay if you are in the Lofoten islands. Reine is the most gorgeous village in Lofoten and probably the best we have seen in the world. The Rorbuer itself if a set of traditional fisherman's cabins which are embellished with some amenities. Wifi is good but you won't find too much in the way...

We stayed here for 1 night at the STEINBUA cottage. It was quite a magical experience as were able to catch the Northern Lights that night from our hut. Though, with the lighting from the village, it was white lights until you take a picture of it with your camera. Regarding the location, this cottage had an amazing view of...

We stayed there for seven days as part of a photography group and had a stand alone cabin (No 7, Cato) to ourselves. It was a great, log cabin with lovely views from the lounge window. The cabin had a double bed room and a second room with a double bunk bed. Importantly it had a heated bathroom floor which...

We stayed there this summer for 5 days and it was just perfect! By far the best accommodations we had during our vacation! Nice and cozy huts with a perfect and stunning view, especially during sunset and sunrise. We had a hut at the waterfront, it was just an unforgettable stay!! And if you don't want to cook on your...

I had looked forward to staying here for over a year and I was not disappointed. The views were picture postcard and the cabin although refurbished to the highest standard still held the feel of a fishing cabin making our stay feel homey and special. It was comfortable and contained everything we needed to make our stay in Reine one...

It took a long time to come here from Asia. As we wanted to experience the northern light, we chose this small village in reine. The wooden house is good of value and everything is clean and tidy. Love the wooden construction and my room on the upper floor. Good if u rent a car as restaurants around are good....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In the western part of Lofoten, at the mouth of Reinefjord, lies the fishing village of Reine, where the majestic Lofoten peaks and the Artic Ocean are our next-door neighbours. In the summer you will enjoy the long days and the Midnight Sun and in the winter the short days with spectacular weather and the Northern Lights. All of our 22 cabins are newly restored and combine the atmosphere of their old use as fishermen's dwellings with modern comfort. All cabins, or 'Rorbuer' as they are called, have their own fully equipped kitchen for those who want to prepare their own freshly caught fish. Wireless internet connection available.
