We visited Peneyrals during May half term and despite the weather doing it's best to be unseasonal with lots of rain (when half of France flooded and was on the news etc), we still had a great time. This is our second May half term camping in the Dordogne and of the two sites we've now stayed at we'd sway...

A fantastic campsite, I would say one of the best in the Dordogne. We had a fantastic week here. It is family run and has a really good family atmosphere around the site. The pool is good, No hanging around for ages queueing up for slides, even at peak times. The entertainment was typical French, A bit quirky but good...

Stayed in a Krystal chalet booked directly with the campsite. These were very spacious and in immaculate condition. There are three children's play areas and a large pool complex, the shallow pool, paddling area and slides were particularly enjoyed by our 7 and 4 year olds. They also enjoyed the kids disco and meeting Nutsy - the park mascot! We...

Just returned from a week at Les Peneyrals. Booked direct with the site and stayed in one of their Equinoxe chalets down by the lake. Chalet was modern and clean with lovely covered deck. Plot was small, not a great deal of space around the chalet but that wasn't an issue for us. Pool facilities were fantastic and went down...

Just got back from 11 nights here. Had a fantastic time. We stayed in an Eurocamp mobile home (same facilities as any Eurocamp accommodation). This was our second Eurocamp site. Previous one in the Vendee. We liked this one much more for many reasons. The pitches are much more spacious - there was space around our pitch to park the...

We stopped here for ten nights in our touring caravan and had a great time. The pitches were spacious with water points close for all, the facilities were clean every time I visited them as was the rest of the site. Most pitches have dappled shade, with plenty of space for a large caravan, awning, car and extra space for...

We had originally booked to go camping in Wales with friends but the weather was awful and we found this place last minute. As we had booked late we had very noisy pitches next to the pool and evening entertainment but other than that the weather was glorious, the food was great and reasonably priced and the staff were friendly...

My boyfriend and I just returned from a beautiful weeks in Peneyrals. As someone who typically goes to Greece in August I was worried it wouldn't be warm enough for me but with daily highs of 36-37 I was definitely very happy on my sun lounger. Kevin and Rhonda made our stay and the rooms they provided us with were...

Another great stay at Peneyrals. A wonderful site and the family invest in further improvements every year. Great facilities:pools, rides, sports activities, evening entertainment, restaurant - better than the website images! Service fantastic. And easy access to the wonders of the Dordogne. We have visited a number of times with our 3 boys, now 12,11 and 9 and it quite...
