Very pleasant B&B about 4 km past Bonifacio set amongst olive groves. Very nice purpose built building with 3 rooms each on either side of a central common area. Each room has a small outside entrance area with a lovely wood bench and foot stool - very nice. The room is nice, very clean - a bit under furnished (i.e.: no where to put your suitcase except on the floor). There is a wardrobe with shelves but no closet - just a stand with 4 hooks and 4 hangers. The linens were beautiful and comfortable. Large bathroom with walk-in tiled shower; good hot water pressure. You must phone ahead with time you are arriving (between 5 and 7pm) as owners do not live here but down the road. The large common area is nice with big chairs by the fire which Madame lit for us each evening, and two large tables. There are a few soap and jam souvenirs to purchase if you want. Breakfast is served between 8 and 10am in the common room. There is also an outdoor patio area for fine weather. No wifi anywhere on property. Breakfast was the same for all 3 days; coffee, good juice, day-old toasted bread, home-made tomato and kiwi jams, butter pats, their own farm fresh sheep cheese (broccio) and yogurt (plain), and a hard-texture muffin. Also, a small plate with hard biscuits. You can use the common room for dinners, relaxing in the evening -really nice for the 2 of us with the whole place to ourselves. Pleasant host and family although no-one really ever tried to engage us in conversation with our limited French. A great place to stay near Bonifacio and the headland beaches; and a quick drive to Ponto Vecchio and the gorgeous beaches between here and there. Recommended.…
