Quirky pitches with hilly rocky terrain. Not all suitable for camper vans but plenty to choose from. Nice pool not open late enough though. Wonderful outdoor bar seating area under the trees. Nice little market with good quality fresh bread! Bonus for us was there was NO nighttime entertainment. Nice walk down to the small beach with a nice beach bar restaurant with good quality food. Campsite restaurant was disappointing, however had we chosen the pizza maybe it would have been better. I had duck breast and it was awful. Inedible with one forkful of vegetables. Totally overpriced and bad quality. Everyone was having the fresh pizzas so maybe my fault for not chosing that instead. Friendly serving staff. Overall good stopover for a night or two but not for longer.
We stayed here for 2 nights given its proximity to the amazing beach. The campsite had a great atmosphere - no animation, great pool, bar stayed open as long as you were in it, relaxed campers, great for young kids. But the beach didn’t live up to expectation - the sand wasn’t as white as the photos led you to believe and being July it was very busy (the walk down to the beach was lovely and tranquil). My only other gripe was the open/ close times of the barrier - we were in a campervan so had less flexibility than tent / caravanners. You couldn’t leave until 8am (we had to leave earlier to do a mountain trek and ended up sleeping in the car park). You had to be back by 10pm which meant leaving a restaurant by 9.30 to get back before the barrier was closed.
This is our first ever TripAdvisor review as we feel we want to leave our thoughts on our trip for other mobile home visitors to this site. Corsica is beautiful and Rondinara Bay also stunning. We had a fabulous family holiday. However - the mobile home was very disappointing for the price we paid (£2k for 2 weeks). The mobile home is pretty tired with an old shower, minimal decent kitchen equipment, only one sun lounger and no other comfortable outdoor seating (just a picnic bench), no kettle, no pegs on the washing line and a mop bucket but no mop. Take toilet rolls, towels, sheets with you if you can or be prepared to pay a ridiculous price to hire them. The management are very quick to pounce as you arrive to document the inventory and ask you to sign your 450 euros deposit away but (despite 3 reminders due to us having a flight to catch) turned up late for check out and then took an age to check us out and return our money. As a guest here we felt like we ought to be grateful for the opportunity to stay here rather than any focus on customer service. During our stay the shower broke (wouldn’t turn off) - this was fixed fairly quickly and the parasol was completely broken on arrival. We chased for a new one on 3 occasions. When it finally did turn up it wasn’t compatible with the base so we weren’t able to use it. We gave up at this point I’m afraid. The campsite is nice with a close proximity to the beach which is wonderful. Expect to feel ‘fleeced’ at every turn though. The bottled water is 6 euros for a pack of six which is more than double supermarket prices. Washing machines cost 5 euros a pop and a round of ice creams for the family comes to just under 15 euros. Probably not a bad site if you’re camping for the prices displayed but for anyone staying in a mobile home, we didn’t feel it offered appropriate value for money. In our view, good customer service comes down from the management and we didn’t experience any (apart from one friendly barman) during our 2 week stay there. …
12 relaxing days in our tent. Well equipped camp-site. Minimarket had all food and drinks for breakfast and dinner, including Camping gas cartridges. Tasty pizza at the restaurant. Nice Rondinara beach for relaxing, swimming and snorkling quite close. Nice little swimming pool at the camp site.
We had rented a mobile home with 2 bedrooms. All you need for a week by the sea. The staff are very helpfull. you get free parking down by the beach and there is a swimming pool for a dip if you feel like it. The camp site is a little dusty but its a dry climat down there in Corsica. We went to the restaurant most nighs and found it good.
Bel campeggio, bagni puliti, vicino alla spiaggia, ristorante, spaccio, piscina. Vicino a Bonifacio e Porto vecchio. Bel mare. Consigliato Nice campsite, clean toilettes, close to the beach, restaurant, small shop, swimming pool. Not far from Bonifacio and Porto Vecchio. Great sea spot. Recommended.
I can really recommend this amazing camping ground, that we visited in May 2016. ( I did mean to write this review earlier! ) It is quite remote, but so beautiful. Nice sites and close to the fabulous beach, with great walks you can do from the camping ground. We had no cooking equipment with us so we ate and enjoyed some good wines at the restaurant. The food was really quite good, prices ok and the atmosphere in the bar and restaurant was great. Lots of children around, as it was German school holidays, and there seemed to be a lot for the kids to do there. There is a pool, but it was not heated and with the mistral blowing, it was too cold for us!!! I imagine that the pool would be amazing in the summer though. Facilities were good and the camping ground staff really friendly and nice.…
We arrived in low season and there were plenty of space for a big tent and a car. The facilities were under very good conditions, the shop had, for a camping shop, normal prices and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Even the pizza in the camp restaurant was good. Electricity can be sometimes far away from the sites but a cable drum is helpful in every camping vacation. Bonifacio, Zonza, Porto Vecchio and lots of small bays with beautiful beaches can be explored from here. We Sound vine here again for camping in the south east of Corsica.
Lovely well equipped campsite with plenty of amenities, 10 minutes (albeit rocky and hilly as expected in Corsica) to the beautiful rondinara beach. Good clean showers, the pool is lovely if a bit small for the size of the site. With tents it is a bit of a mad dash for a pitch as they don't reserve. The service in the bar was excellent, and the pizza is very good and reasonably priced (the burger however was pretty average and very overpriced at €18). The overall cost for two people for a pitch and car was €26 which is very reasonable. Would use again if in the area
Plenty of pitch choice for Campervans, a restaurant / bar next an infinity pool (neither of which we used), ample clean toilets and washing facilities. Friendly staff that speak a number of languages. Competitive rates for short-stay visits. Washing machine usage price was a little on the high side...but then again, we didn't use it so it didn't affect our stay! Best part of our stay was the short walk (10 mins) down to a beautiful secluded bay where stunning sunsets awaited us. There was also a lovely circular walk available out to the nearby headland (as informed to us by the reception staff) but we didn't have torches and it was getting dark so we did not manage to complete this. This campsite is relatively hidden as far as location signposting goes...but the quiet and the tranquility of the location is well worth the extra drive off the main road. …
