The hotel is located very close to the Marina and, with its private free parking, is a good accomodation if you're driving a car. Our room was on the first floor and was quite comfortable though the window was facing a wall which was supposed to be a courtyard view. The bathroom and the toilet were 2 different, separated rooms. The walk through shower was huge but the shower bottom was weirdly made with plastic instead of ceramic. Basic toiletries were provided but not replaced once over. Except for that, housekeeping was ok. Full minibar but no glasses provided. There's a small bar on the ground floor. WiFi works quite well. Slightly priced for what it offers but we had a pleasant experience.
Very convenient and comfortable hotel, with laid-back, friendly staff. The location was perfect, just a few short blocks from the port (where you can catch a boat to the Ils Lavezzi and a mini-tram up to the old city). We booked a “family room” that had a comfortable king bed and a separate loft for kids, plus a nice little terrace. There is also free parking. I will say that the price felt somewhat high for a relatively simple hotel, but I think that was just a function of the time we came.
We booked the 3 bedroom suite which is very spacious. The rooms were clean but very basic. Had a large bathtub with a hand shower. You have to hold the shower-head. The rooms were nicely air conditioned. The hotel is very convenient to the port and close to a supermarket, shops and restaurants. The town is a 5 minute drive or a 20 minute walk uphill.
Very clean and modern style of interior room with and extra level for two more beds, perfect for families of four. Very clean and newly refurbished. Staff is kind of nice. The breakfast is a total ripoff of 14euros, you are much better off having a decent breakfast in the port instead. Recommended for families but find alternative to breakfast.
Very nice staff, very helpful, rooms and hotel are spacious and beautiful with balconies, a good 10 min walk to the citadel and great parking, definitely a great hotel in Bonifacio and we will be back for sure.
Good location, very clean, and the manager allowed us to check in early to the room. The rooms are very small and it is a little overpriced. It is on the main street with a lot of restaurants and super markets.
Tthe receptionist has been very rude; He has hung up the phone because he did not speak English. Upon check out we were charged again to check out despite being all paid. The group has complained about the attention of the staff. le réceptionniste a été très grossier; Il a raccroché parce qu'il ne parlait pas anglais. Au moment du départ, nous avons été facturés à nouveau pour le départ malgré tout payé. Le groupe s'est plaint de l'attention du personnel
This hotel is a few minutes walk away from the town. There’s only a few rooms with the ability to take a shower and the rest of the rooms just has a tub with a handheld shower head so the only way to be “hands free” is to tie the shower head around the towel bar. The desk is small and the internet is slow at times and spotty depending on where you are in the room. Air conditioning works well and the bed is fine. No English spoken at all.
Our suite: king bed with balcony; two bathrooms -- one with a huge tub -- and a small room with a pullout couch was fine and furnished in a contemporary style. very limited space to put belongings unless you unpack. The air conditioning was weak and didn't cool the room. Outside the room was grim: dark with blank walls and four ceiling height laundry carts were always parked outside our door. The front desk was served by a rotating group of family members who often hung out, watching TV. The location of the hotel a few minutes walk from the central port area with its many services was great. Overall for the price (high) this wasn't a great value.
Great location just next to the city centre. Nice, clean and modern rooms. Buffet breakfast: Very limited, expensive, and the staff tending the breakfast room far from being very nice (also only willing to speak French), and reluctant to refill the food baskets once they go empty. I also found some food (cheese) to be either stale or moldy (I don't think emmentaler is supposed to have culture).
