Our family had a fabulous visit at Selva Negra. There is great hiking, beautiful scenery. Very family friendly with playgrounds for kids. The coffee tour was very interesting. Th organic, sustainable farm was amazing. The farm has an onsite school, clinic, and the workers are treated well. I don't even like coffee and I loved this place!

While I am traveling solo by bicycle hough Latin America, friends came to visit me. We met at Selva Negra and stayed here together for a couple of day. The place is great. It has beautiful property with great trail, we even saw howler monkeys and many other animals while hiking there. The staff is good and very atentative.

This eco-friendly resort is the perfect getaway from the heat and bustle of the city. It is located in "The Black Forest". It produces all organically farmed coffee, meat, eggs, coffee, and vegetables on site. It was pleasure to know that I was consuming a meal produced on site. This place is as eco-friendly as it gets, from the trash...

Spent few days here and did have a great time. Hotel crew not always understanding everything and therefore not really top. Accomodations are OK, typical "jungle" location. Nice that you can sit outside your room where you have full freedom Got a great opportunity to talk with the owner and help developing her new ideas on tourist tours in coffee...

We were extremely happy with our stay at this resort. We stayed in the hotel style room and loved the entire decore and added comfort of the hot water shower. The rooms do get a bit humid but you are in a cloud forest...so it is expected. The grounds are extremely well kept, beautiful and wonderful for a peaceful walk....

We loved our quick visit to this beautiful place. Comfortable cabins in a lovely cloud forest setting. Many Nicaraguan families vacationing there, so it was a nice experience along with us tourist from other countries. Great food. Challenging hiking trails made for good adventure. Wish we had had more time to spend here.

Set in the lush rainforest the individual bungalows are well equipped, quiet and ideal for a relaxing stay. The climate is perfect, during the day nice and warm and in the evening it gets cool and it is pleasant to enjoy a drink or a meal on the Terrasse near the small lake.

We live about 45 min from the selva and go regularly. The entry fee is very reasonable and goes toward the restaurant which is always top notch. We mainly enjoy the hiking trails and have seen amazing birds here every time we go (see pics). The staff is always very helpful in telling us where to go to see the...

A wonderful place with the most wonderful people. Whether to just relax or to learn about the place and people, this is a magnificent place to do it all. The farm tour is a must along with the coffee tour. The bright red and bright yellow coffee berries are beautiful.
