A journey back in time when travellers were greeted with delight and given thoughtful and professional service. The comfort levels offered are exceptional and it was a wonderful stay. The views are beautiful offering you a calm period from your time tables. Food is prepared freshly for you and your Chef will offer you choices. Everything is delicious so it...

We have only just left this place this morning and we are still talking about it. The service was just incredible. This place is perched in the mountains so the views are splendid and majestic and it overlooks onto the tea trails. I have not found a bad thing about this place. The food was just divine, people friendly and...

From the moment you arrive you are welcomed by such warm, happy & friendly staff who are so welcoming. We stayed at the Summerville bungalow and had such an amazing experience. Located along the tea trails the bungalow is over looking a gorgeous lake where you can go kayaking etc. The rooms are stunning so spacious with gorgeous interiors. We...

An absolute oasis of luxury, calm and serenity. Everything about this place is spectacular. From the minute we arrived at our Bungalow (Norwood), we were taken care of by the Butlers. Everything we experienced in our stay, from the tea we drank, to the views we witnessed, was spectacular. It's a colonial style bungalow, so don't expect modrn decor, but...

We spent 3 nights in the Summerville bungalow; climbing Adam's Peak at 2am on the first night. The following 2 days were spent relaxing. The service here is simply amazing and the food is up there with the best fine dining anywhere in the world. The 3 and 4 course meals 3 times a day was a little daunting, however...

To start, we'll just say that every aspect of Tea Trails is perfect -- location, lodging, food and service. There's not a single thing we would recommend for improvement. There are five luxurious tea plantation bungalows to choose from, each with roughly 6 rooms (with en suite bathrooms). They are a good distance apart. We stayed in Tientsin bungalow, which...

We had a wonderful time at the tea trails when we stayed at the Summerville bungalow recently. Given the price, we were expecting something very special and boy were we blown away. Travelling with a toddler this was a perfect spot and we couldn't have asked for more attentive service from Darsana and team. We had the bungalow to ourselves...

My husband and I like to visit unusual places when he have the opportunity. Sri Lanka more than qualified, especially since we live in the US, making it a very long trip. We wanted to see various parts of the country, and the tea plantations are a classic spot to visit. The plantations themselves are in the Sri Lankan highlands,...

Thanks for your great feedback. Yes the emerald green tea country is really scenic! We hope to see you back in Sri Lanka and perhaps also visit Tea Trails sister properties Cape Weligama and Wild Coast Tented Lodge, Yala which are also quite special. Thanks again.

Wow, what a place! Stunning location, food beyond real and superfriendly, professional staff. You travel back in time to the colonial tea factory. Go there and experience the extraordinary!! It is not cheap but it is worth every penny!

What an absolutely amazing property set high in the mountainous tea plantations! Flawless beauty, cool dry sunny weather, delicious local and Western cuisine for every meal. We stayed in Norwood - Jeffrey room. While it was a bit hot and stuffy compared to the rest of the bungalow - it was charming and perfectly staffed by the private butler Sanath....
